Default Wide turns and high-horse drivers

So I was sitting at a stop sign in Hesperia behind a flatbed making a left onto a narrow street.
As I watched this guy make his turn, everyoone but the punk, Orange County transplant in the lifted F-150 back up and make room.
This guy flips the driver off, stays near the stop sign for a few minutes and when the truck is about to scrape him, drives up on the curb and makes his right turn that way.

As this fool rolls by, he sticks his arm back in the window after holding the bird up longer than required and as he drives by, I flash the "retardation" salute back at him.

I don't know, Hesperia is still kind of a truck friendly city for being in Dumpsterfornia, but all these kids who have grown up since their parents got chased out of LA and Orange County are some of the worst up here when it comes to driving around, well anything for that matter.

Happened to me in Chicago.I shut it down and got out of the truck with the craziest, wild-eyed Southern Boy look I could muster up and headed straight for the drivers door. I'm not sure if was my crazy eyes or the load bar, but, he must've backed up half a block before he finally stopped....lol!

Now that I'm older, crazy eyes aside, I think it's the T-shirt that does it for me.

    That's nasty, Roadhog.

I see trucks in town that try to turn, and some jip is just sitting there, watching. Makes me want to get out of my pickup and ask the dumb nut to back up.

Good way to end up with a giant hole in your face where the bullet went through. Matter of fact I would even say that going towards a car with a winch bar or whatever in your hand gets you what you deserve when the car driver decides to defend himself.

I have to agree. You might want to stay in your truck these days Dave. What good can possibly come from getting out in a threatening manner?

I just simply make the turn, as far as i possibly can, (getting as close as I dare to their hood) then smile & wait. They'll eventually back up, as not many people have patience anymore. They're always in a rush.

Nothing good would come out of it. Dave could end up dead, injured, or arrested. The other person would claim self defence and get away with it.

Old people just don't get any respect.

Y'all are gonna jump on Dave, but I was willing to do the same,
and gimp up the street, wheezing, with a threatening T-shirt.

Bentsrider I know what you're talking about there are certain parts of California you have to watch more than usually for the idiots as I call them. I used to drive a truck and trailer gas tanker out there and have to deal with the morons on the road as well as in the stations while dropping gas watch out for the idiots that run the cones over, drive or back into the truck try and drive over the hoses or you and say I didn't see the cones or the shiny tank truck as their excuse. I guess you have to just be the professional one and just take a deep breathe and go on with your day.

Riding my bicycle out here everyday, I know that the majority are either unlicensed drivers, or young punk(17-20) high-school/college kids that are either too scared to attract police attention, or act tough when driving daddy/mommys pickup or SUV.

Other states drivers I wouldn't mess around with, but CA is about as full of fruits and nuts as you could get.
Seems like any time I was going down the 60, 10, 710, or 210 during the day whether it was car or semi, there seemed to be 10-20 accidents an hour!!

Yeah, there's bad drivers everywhere, but this state gets the cake.
