Default OTR driver last 3 years, now verifiable history!

Drove for Westar Transportation out of Wichita Falls for the last 3 year, quit last October. Today while talking to a recruiter I was informed that since they were seized by IRS and have closed their doors with no one to answer the phone or respond to employment verification requests, I now have no verifiable driving history! THAT SUCKS!!!

Asked the recruiter about copying my logs and pay stubs and tax returns for the past 3 years and she said, no, that won't work because that could be falsified.

    Guess it's burger flipping time!!
REMEMBER, guns don't kill! It's the jealous husband that comes home early!

Don't give it up just yet, you may have to settle for some of the larger companies, but I'm quite sure they'll be able to work with you better than the luck I've had with my spell.

As far as flipping burgers go, I've actually had McD workers make fun of myself working as a security guard(did this before CDL).
I shoot back, "Well, for the same amount of money, I put up with less BS than you guys do."

But getting back to the issue at hand, the guy I got 7 months of post-accident experience with sold off all of his equipment after not being able to pay the registration.

The battle gets tougher, which only means we'll have to swing the axe a tad harder.

Get your pay stubs / w2 together and your logs and talk to some other than that recruiter, remember rules are for the peon's you don't want to talk to the peon !

Sorry to hear that, Bald Eagle. That sucks!
Man, if your'e anything like me, you would have come un-glued and told that recruiter how the cow eats the cabbage.
W2's, logs, and pay stubs are about as secure as you can get. If all she wanted was a phone call, shoot, anyone could have told her that you drove for them etc. She might have thought you was just doing a prank or something..
I'm sure you are doing this, but keep looking, and keep talking. Something will come up.
