Default Hey HOBO... That you, uninvited????

As the Secret Service was reviewing how an attention-hungry couple — Tareq and Michaele Salahi — got into the dinner without being on the guest list, officials discovered that a third person made it through security without an invitation as well. The Secret Service said the man — whom they would not identify — did not get close to the president or the first lady.
You can read about the rest of it at: Third uninvited guest got into W.H. dinner - White House- msnbc.com

That wasn't you, by any chance, trying to get closer to your buddy, was it?

You know, Walker. This story is kind of funny. The length that some of these automotons will go to to hump their messiah's ankle is rather amusing.

    Indeed, indeed.

I heard this morning that there trying to rename a park or something after him in Hawaii. Seemed like even the locals they interviewed were a little "WTF?" about it. Most of the responses were "He hasn't done anything yet."

Oh, but that's just it. He's done plenty. He's done more to trivialize the our constitution, more the belittle our allies, more to give comfort to our enemies, more to turn this country into a socialist nation, and more to set himself up as a dictator, than any president has done in the history of our country.

So, he's done plenty and he's got the cogs in place to continue doing a whole lot more in the next 3 years. Unfortunately, everything has been geared toward destroying this country and what it was founded on. And the liberal weenies that have not awakened yet are lapping it all up and begging for more.

In one of his national commercials, campaigning for President, he said that jobs security was going to be the first thing on his mind every day he's in the White House. Well, he's had a year now, and what has he done about jobs?

Oh, but he's stabilized the financial markets. "FAILURE SHALL NOT BE REWARDED". But, of the billions of dollars given to AIG, more than two billion was given to executives as "bonuses". in two seperate rounds of those bonuses, and the executives were obviously rewarded for their failures. Or a bridge in GA that needed to be replaced. The unemployment rate in the area was high, and a local company is quite capable of doing all the work. It would have meant jobs in the area, but the contract to do the work was given to a company from out of state. And, the unemployment rate there has not improved.

Every trip I make with the truck, I see more and more businesses boarded up. Last month, a restaurant I stopped to eat at, and the food was excellent, was getting plywood over the windows a week later. Last week, I saw things like that in NJ, and PA. Also in VA. I've been hearing that the job market has stabilized, but I am still seeing where people are still losing their jobs.

In my view, he's doing a worse job that Bush. We have not just been lied to. I'd even say we've been BETRAYED. But, HOBO is sucking it all up. I really bit my tongue on my first post. I did not refer to Obama as his "butt buddy", but I'm thinking I should have.

That's the way it used to be Jack. Of course it will never be open like that ever again. The WH was and sometimes still is considered the People's House of the US and we are supposed to be allowed into at anytime. In this day and age with terrorism that won't happen. It was said way back in the day that a leader who hides behind security and gates is a dictator and that is not what our country is about.

I notice that HOBO has not signed in on this one yet. Must be thinking it over on line 5, and wondering if it's some kind of set-up for him. I'm giving him the benefit of doubt, that he's driving and not online at the present time.

Hobo would have been un-invited guest #4...except he never made it past the Lincoln Memorial. Park Police found him there around 3 am, naked, humping Old Abes left eye and chanting "Change is Coming"...

That tells ya about our "changing times". I figured that if anyone walked in, that would be a quick way to stop a bullet.

Yeah, I know. I was pretty low-key on that one and wasn’t sure if anyone was getting where I was coming from.

I believe there have been various times you've made your views quite clear. There are a number of people that share the same views. But, I'm meeting more and more people that feel he's lied to us all. I've heard a number of people admit that they did vote for him, and would now, like to change their vote. I'm having a hard time seeing him as being "re-electable". But, what do I know? I would not have picked him as the winner last time.

Obama's ratings continue to fall like a rock. At this point I don't see how anyone running against him could lose. I believe there are many people who voted for him who feel that they were deceived. Whether that holds true for the next 3 years is yet to be seen. I have heard a few stories about some democratic congressional representatives that have attempted to switch party affiliations to the republican party. If true, I am not surprised. That happened several years ago. It was the only way some of them could have been reelected. Obama and the democratic congress seem oblivious to what is really going on with the American people. Either that, or they simply don't care. I think that they plan on pushing their agenda no matter what the people want.

Well, that is, good bye to MY SOCIAL SECURITY. I'm not about to take any benefits away from anyone else.

Before the last election, I sent out all sorts of emails telling people to write my name in on the ballot. And, tell their friends. That I feared we were going to be... Well, we were going to be betrayed in the election. I also touched on some of the issues I thought were important.

I've gotten quite a number of emails back saying they are sorry they did not write my name in on the ballot. They thought the things I said simply made too much sense. Will I be running in the next election?

I think maybe I will. I don't believe I can do any worse than I did last time.

We need a charismatic candidate who has some practical business experience. We don't need another lawyer. I think the 2010 election will be more about voting against the incumbents or perhaps voting against democrats. When 2012 gets here it is a little difficult to tell whether people will vote against Obama and his policies or for a new leader based upon his values and ideas for the future of this country. I think that we will be looking for someone who puts forth an image of fiscal responsibility who wants to LEAD the country, not RULE. Obama wants to rule.

I don't know that I entirely agree with the "business" experience. Just plain COMMON SENSE. I've seen decisions made by business that make very little sense. Some of them have made even less sense than the things government has been doing.

I seem to remember that during his campaign, Obama said he was not strong on economics. That means he's listening to advisers and "experts". And, they, and the advisers and experts that Bush had, may well have graduated from the same schools. No, they are not making the same mistakes, but they don't have the right answers either.

If you have a horse and a mule teamed together, and the mule won't pull, you don't step down off the buckboard, ball up your fist, and hit the horse in the face. That's common sense.

When the economy is in trouble because people do not have enough money to spend and keep it going, you don't put programs through that will mean higher taxes. The more taxes we have to pay, the less money there is in circulation to keep the economy healthy. Obama's attitude is no better than Napolean's wife... "Let them eat cake." It seems like, no matter who gets into office, they have a debt to repay for the campaign funds, and that debt is repaid to those that were able to contribute the most. Care to check the campaign contributions and see just how much the executives and members of the board at AIG put into the fund? Not a bad investment. When you look at the rounds of bonuses, they got their entire donations back, with interest. At this level, we're left with nothing.

The one thing the Republicans had right in the last election was the fact that we do not need more government. At this point, a simple tax reduction is not going to do it. It's going to need a radical tax restructure. And, with the normal resistance to change, I don't see that coming, because it means a "Dark Horse" from outside the ring that can see where the problems lie and has the fortitude to push things through that will cure those problems. The stimulus package has had very little effect at this level, and healthcare has even less effect. Can you point to any member of Congress or the Senate that has accurately put his/her finger on the problems? It's going to take someone "OUTSIDE OF CURRENT CONVENTIONAL WISDOM". And, business may not be any better answer than another attorney.
