I saw the date of last log in, 1969, and I was like what??
I figured yall would get a kick out of that.

I remember when I was in jr high, and we had that 'turtle'. I forget what keys we used, but you could type something, and the turtle would move around the screen.

    Whoo Hoo!!!!
5th grade-8th grade(1984-1989) APPLE. BASIC programming. We had a Computer Lab. Mine was the first class to use it.

Senior year of high school(1992-93) had to take an elective, took computers, still used APPLE. I was thrown out of the class in the first two weeks by my teacher. Told me I knew to much(BASIC programming). He would just tell me when the tests were and I would show up and take them. Aced the class.

I did and got some answers from the late 50's, some says 1960, and then in 1985 it was introduced to the PUBLIC... So when did it actually become the internet we know it as??? My guess would be 1985!!!!
As far as having it all the way back to the 50's or 60's, who even knew about it anyway!!!..... Oh YA, the government!!!

The internet as we know it didn't start taking hold until the early 90's. It was available in the 80's, but it was very confusing and didn't have much on it at the time.
Wanna play a couple online games that are absolutely free? These are the games I play on a very regular basis:

Do you REALLY believe that Al Gore would have invented the internet if it was just "a passing fad"??
