There are quite a few trucks that travel US-64 in that area. With I-40 also being closed it will take a little longer to go back and forth from Tennessee and North Carolina. Hopefully, they will reopen then shortly.

    That's Ridge Runner's back yard.

Checked it out on Google Earth, and it looked fine to me. ...What?... oh.
From the video, and that guy mentioning Diversion Dam, you can see right where it's at.

This has to be a never-ending problem around these parts. That Ocoee rock is nothing but layers of mud, gravel.

I'd like to go there just to ask how do you pronounce Ocoee?

depending on where I am going, I use either hwy 68 which is a freaking nightmare, they are talking about banning trucks from it, or, I go 515 to 136 to I-75 at Resaca

That is a beautiful drive through Ocoee. That is where they had part of the Olympics a few years ago.

and I bet there aint a whole lot of ways to get through there. Unless you want to drive in the 'woods'? I can just picture a highway right in the middle of the wilderness and mountains.

There isn't a really good way around that road unless you want to add a lot of miles to your route. US 64 is pretty windy in places. I would probably go through Chatsworth or perhaps Resaca and cross the mountains then head north if I were in north Georgia. I don't remember the road numbers off hand.
