    Default I'm still alive

I decided to pop in out of the blue and say hi ! It's good to still see the longtime members still around and active. I wish I could be as active as I used to be but driving local working 55-60 hours a week, being heavily involved in the fire department and many other things doesn't leave me much time catch up on reading posts everyday. In fact it's starting to wear on me, again. I still seem to get solid hours every week but since I came back to my local job right when the scrap metal market tanked last fall and my company has been a little screwed up since. I'm not doing the type of driving I came back to do nor have I ever since coming back but like I said the hours are there (for now) so I just grind the days out.

So basically I got that damned OTR itch going on. Clearly there is something wrong with me. Mental illness perhaps ? Who knows. But I am leaving a triumphant return to OTR on the table. There's just no shaking that feeling. There isn't crap for decent paying local jobs advertised around here. Some of the hourly rates they offer around here to experienced drivers is laughable. There is a real good grocery company here but you have to start out part time working at least 2 Saturdays a month and wait for a full time offer. They pay VERY good and are a great company but you have to have a perfect driving record for the past 3 years. Mines not horrible but also not perfect.

Anyways, I stopped in to say hi. Maybe I'll snoop around the rest of the night and see what everybody is up to. Later, T.K.
