I heard about this. Man, I would hate to "go" that way. I know I've said I ain't skeert of nothin'.... but, I always get a bit nervouse on bridges over large bodies of water. Been over THAT bridge a few times, and I was cautious even BEFORE this detour they've created. Don't much care for the bridge going east from Annapolis, Md., either. Worse yet, is the one on 311 from MD into Virginia.

    Okay... I DON'T LIKE BRIDGES!!

But, what kind of IDIOT doesn't slow down when he crosses a bridge with nothing but a 4 foot wall between him and a drop to certain death below?

ONE of those bridges I mentioned even has a sign saying Truckers use right lane. I'm like.... F YOU!! I'm gonna stay in the left lane so that if the wind blows me over, I fall on PAVEMENT!

I got TWO fears about trucking. One is falling off a bridge and the other is burning up in the cab because the doors get jammed and I can't get out!

I may be fearless.... but, I ain't stoopid!
Remember... friends are few and far between.

    TRUCKIN' AIN'T FOR WUSSES!!!

I've been over that bridge a few times and that particular curve is pretty unforgiving if you are going a little too fast.

Too bad that driver had to learn the hard way.

You mean the 301 bridge Hobo, the Harry Nice Bridge. Brother hates going over that thing when he races at Budds Creek, MD but the alternate route adds about 2 hours and a short ride around the DC Beltway. Said it was kinda hairy 2 Sundays ago when he went over for the car show, didn't have the trailer with him that time and said it was moving him around pretty good.

That's what I was thinking. 301 not 311. I don't do that bridge much, not because I don't like it, but once I get across into MD, there are simply too many traffic lights. What have they got? About 20 miles worth of shopping centers on the east side in Waldorf?
