Default Looking for a guide with hotels with truck parking.

A friend of mine is looking for a guide that has list of hotels/motels that have truck parking. Does the book "The Next Exit" have such info? Any books that have that type of info?

There may be other, better resources.... but, yes "The Next Exit" gives that info. Each exit is listed with all the hotels, restaurants, fuel stops and such. ANY business that has truck parking is listed in RED. Also.... the Walmarts are designated as to which are supercenters/all nighters.

Some here will tell you that all this info is available for a few hundred bucks on a gps system or a program for your laptop. But, if you don't have one, the book is about $15.

    I wouldn't travel without one.

I always keep a copy of the truckers friend but I've thought of getting the next exit. I usualy keep like 3 truckstop books, 2 biger ones and one quick reference. That might be a nice addition to my colection

You could also sign up for Corporate Lodging. They list hotels in their network that have truck parking.

How does one do this. Is their one single registry that would work for all the hotel companies or would you have to do it individually with each company?

You have to join. There is a discount with OOIDA. Last time I did it you put in the search info and it's one single registry. It's only got hotels they are contracted with though. Most of them are lower end like Super 8, Travel Lodge, etc. Although, in a few cities they have Radisson and Crowne Plaza. I used Radisson a few times in Ft. Worth.

If you want higher end, Hyatt, Marriott, etc. you have to do each hotel individually.

I just canceled my coporate lodging membership, they were charging higher rates than I could get on my own, example. super 8 in Cilothee Mo, my price 38.95 a night as a cash customer, using coporate card, 45.95
when I asked them about it, they said we have changed our price structure.
