Here in this part of Texas, we are experiencing some of that "Global Warming" stuff too! It has been the wettest October in 3 decades.

It might be here in north/west Texas.. It's not even Halloween yet, and I've already broke out my jacket. Here lately, the lows have been in the upper 40's/lower 50's. What's it supposed to be like at Christmas? Snow???? Normally, it's in the 90's til about Thanksgiving.

We had a fairly normal spring and summer this year from when I was growing up about 20 years ago in VA. Fall has been right about the average, little low on the wet side but the temps are about right. Do remember about 12 years ago when it was brutally cold here at the end of October as high school football season was coming to a close.

How about all the experts who had graphs put in front of them with no knowledge as to what it was about? They were told to fine a trend or pattern, every single one of them said they could not find a single pattern to make any assumptions or predictions. Turns out it was weather related graphs and it shot a monster sized hole into the global warming fun bag that says the world as a whole is heating up.

I think too if Golfhobo limits all his post to, let's say, 30 words or less, it would make a significant decrease in VOC's that hit the ozone!

What people don't understand is that the earth has been going through global warming since the end of the last ice age... Once that is finally over, global cooling will once again begin.

Pretty obvious, they don't know. They say that the industrial age and all the carbon dioxide is causing it. And, it will cause an ice age. But some 45,000 years ago, there was also an ice age. As I recall, we had not invented the wheel back then. What industry caused the warming that ended in that ice age? And, that one is not the first one.

I really don't think they know much of anything. But, they're all jumping on the bandwagon.

I guess it was all the fires that the native americans built after they crossed the land bridge is what caused it all.

I just keep thinking: 2012 - only a couple more years...

Been saying that for sometime. The planet is warming up but it's so daggone slow you and I will be long gone before it really becomes a major factor. Al Gore started it under the presumption that we must act quickly to reverse global warming, man-made global warming at that.

    Mr. Ford said:

So.... it's okay to burden our GRANDCHILDREN with smog and impure water, just as long as we don't leave them any national debt?

Al Gore started it under the presumption that we must act quickly to reverse global warming, man-made global warming at that.
I KNOW he invented the Internet(s).... but, are you SURE he was the first to warn against global warming? And what difference would it make if it were man-made or natural.... if it threatened society? Let's say YOU are right, and we are actually "cooling." So.... is an early Ice Age any more preferable than another Dust Bowl?

If we HAVE the technology to "moderate" our climate changes... why wouldn't we? Oh yeah... because it means a little more cost to the big nasty corporations that are polluting our planet!

No wait.... it's because the IDEA was put forth by a Democrat!
