damn, you need to be careful taking those ramps especially. I went out with a trainer for 1 day on this job and he wondered why i freaked when he took an exit ramp marked 25 at 45 mph. He may have never had a roll over but there is always a 1st, I don't wanna be there for the first one. Not to mention we have those heavy racks that roll around in the back, even when you secure them well.

I loved some of the comments about the accident...especially those explainiing why the Lexus was passing the truck on the exit ramp. Of course...It coulda been the trucker was flying and used the shoulder to try and pass the Lexus.

Really....it is to bad that the driver died...but it looks more like a case of God thinning the herd, than anything else.

Do you really think GOD has to do anything at all? Just sit back and allow "SUPIDITY" to reign SUPREME, and the "thinning" takes care of itself.

I was looking for the thread about the wind-turbine tower coming loose from the tractor and rolling over. This evening, in MS, about the 10 mm on the westbound side, something big and round and another incident. From the eastbound side, I didn't get a good look at it. It was big and round, and it looked like all axles under it. But I don't recall seeing a tractor in front of it. Thought it was really odd to see a couple of 4-wheelers going east in the westbound lanes. Then when I got to exit 14, all the westbound traffic was being detoured off the interstate.

I don't know exactly what it was, but it was big, and I do mean BIG. With all the axles under it, it is not light. But I can't tell you what happened. I didn't get that good a look. If anyone catches anything on the news, maybe they can fill the rest of us in on it. By the way, that was about the 10 mile marker of I-10, westbound.
