I haven't met any one on here but have talked to a few on the phone. I don't get around much any more I run I90 from Rochester NY to Syracuse then drop down on 81 to Binghamton and then turn left on 17 drive that for 2 hr and then turn around and head back home. If ya see a red CRETE truck on 17 chances are it's me. ( 2 yrs and I've never seen another Crete on 17) Flash your lights or throw something at me, cb's rarely on

I talked to GMAN on the phone, very pleasant person to talk to.
Last week I passed Rev on 95, I was going north, he was going south. I shouted out "hey! let's stop for coffee", he said "screw you b!tch I gotta keep rollin!"
So, I'm thinking next time..........

I dont believe that for a second!! if it was really Rev, his response would have been, "are you buying?"

Was he like I envisioned? Yes and no. He didn't have on suspenders.
You can have an image in your mind ( hair color/style, height, weight, looks...ect ) but that is just what we make-believe about a person we have never met. He was what I expected tho: He looked just like a truck driver. The kind of guy that if you needed help, he would be the first one to offer. The kind of guy that even tho he had made plans ( with me ) and had the P/U and Del. times changed, he took it all in stride. He was/is the kind of guy I like to be around. The man out there getting the job done, likes what he does and does his best to do it right. They don't come any better.
Ridge
P.S. Do watch out tho. For a big guy he is FAST!!! I never seen a guy grab a check off the table as fast he did. The next one is on me!!!

Ridge (Jeff) is a nice guy....for an office rat!! LOL.....and he has a runner form....even though shorter than I imagined!!
Ya'al go ahead and stop, say hi to the man! You can stop at the Kangaroo fuel stop in Ringgold and he will be right there!!
Hehehehe. And he does have an impact on "your" lives in some form, every day!! I know who he works for now!!

Wow. You folks are having a regular "social club". If I stop "running silent and deep", can I join???
I've been to the Kangaroo in Ringold. Didn't know he was there. I'll have to make it a point to look him up next time I go by there. I usually do have a few minutes to stop.
Of course, that won't be today (or tomorrow). I'm siting at the Flying J in Baytown, TX for the night. Tomorrow, I'll be getting off 3 stops around Houston, then on to Temple. Will be finishing up in Corpus Christi.
Psssst... Want to know a secret... A few of you may have seen me and don't even know it....

I didn't know that there was a place called the Kangaroo in Ringold.
(Ringold is a little town about 45 miles east of Wichita Falls on hwy 82. Population might be 25 )

I believe that he is talking about Ringgold, GA. There is a Kangaroo at exit 345 about 7 miles south of the TN/GA line on I-75.

I didn't think he was talking about Ringold, Tx.
Ringold (Tx) is about half-way between Henrietta, and Nocona on hwy 82. Little bitty place.
