Default Former Coolie Carrier Driver now in AK!

Hey all you hobos! I made it! Crossed into AK 2 hours ago! Currently sitting at Fast Eddy's Restaurant in Tok, AK. Going to eat breakfast then the final 250 miles to Valdez! It's been an awesome trip. Unbelievable!!! I saw Bullwinkle a number of times

I have some pics and stuff to share in a few days. For now....just going to soak it all in. The journey of my life for sure!

First order of business next week: I'm gonna find that grizzly and tell him all about the misdeeds of one GOLFHOBO!

    More soon!

Be sure to say hello to a certain private citizen up there for me. I haven't managed to cross paths with her just yet.

If you get a little east of there, get me a pic of Sargent Preston, and have his dog, Yukon King put a paw print on the back of it...

Good luck up there G!! Get settled in and build a nice place for company!! Learn the tricks for catching the best salmon and halibut...then share with visitors in the coming years!!

For catching Dungeness crab....punch holes in a can of the greasiest cat food, stick it in the bait trap of a crab pot, and let it soak for a few hours. This also catches star fish! (Of course...if you make it outside of Prince William Sound....I expect to see pics of you holding your first King crab catch! Opillios *sp* don't count!!)

OK yahoos! I haven't had a chance to get back with y'all as I've been having to much damn fun! Alaska is wonderful! It is actually 10:13 PM here so I am going to keep it short with a few photos for tonight.

Kat: Sorry that I missed you! I kept my Toyota to the extreme right anytime that I saw a big BBR Peterbilt coming my way. I remembered Tammy's video and could pick out her trip around Muncho Lake. Too bad that I didn't study a bit harder else I could have dropped by Golfhobo's booze stop. Cause we all know that drinking in a CMV is OK!

I have my Alaska CDL. Don't really plan on using it, but want to keep everything current. I have to go to Anchorage to do fingerprinting etc.

Life is great up here! I found my gal and we have been having the time of our lives! Sorry not too much time to check in!

Here are a few pics. I'll be back later.............time to go to bed.......(no photos of that WW LOL)

Former Coolie Carrier driver (now houseboy [kept man]) displaying my new Alaska plates. (Veteran plates on order from Anchorage)

Former Coolie Carrier driver at Liberty Falls. Near Chitina, AK today.

Former Coolie Carrier driver with my beautiful Rhonda on the Lowe River, Valdez.

Trans Alaska Pipeline. Milepost 771.7. Near Valdez.

Milepost 0 at Pump Station #1, Prudhoe Bay, AK. Milepost 800 at the Valdez Marine Terminal.

To my old friend Golfhobo.............this one's for you! Yeppers, I'm a beer snob already! No more Miller Lite for this guy.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah jeez Gary....Surely you saw them fuel hawgs they pull in MI! I bet they don't put much more than 12,400....maybe 12,600 gallons in that pig! Back in the day....IF I was to want to show impressive productivity numbers instead of haul legal...I could stuff one of the 8-axle jobbies in WA with 12,600. And still pull the hills around Seattle!!

IF you go to driving one of them there hawgs.....get Wildkat to come up and teach you to back it up....I just know she can do it real good!!!

Be kewl Gary...DO NOT FEED THE BEARS!!!! Especially from the back porch!!
