    Default How To Get Off The Road to Go To An Interview??

    I have an interview tuesday and i'm wondering what do i tell my dispatcher to get off the road for a couple hours?? I can't tell them i have an interview, if i don't get the job i'll be screwed!!

    Call in Monday morning with a painful toothache, call back Monday afternoon and tell them you can't get an appointment till the next day (Tuesday).

    If they require a note from the dentist tell them on Wednesday morning that he died suddenly the night before and you'll need Friday off for the funeral. Problem solved.

    Tell'em you got a very important personal matter to take care of family wise. If they don't like it, call in sick that day. If they ask what the family matter is, none of their d@mn business.
