and I think we're heading down the road to another conflict. Maybe not a full blown civil war but some kind of conflict. When enough people wake up and realize the money that is wasted or maybe stolen perhaps REAL change will occur.

I hope that we don't get into another armed conflict with the government. We have had two major wars in this country. Both involved an overzealous centralized government and over taxation. The first was the American Revolution. The King of England wanted to levy heavy taxes on colonial settlers and those people didn't have representation before the crown. The American Civil war started due to the federal government wanting to levy heavy taxes on southern textiles. That and states rights. States wanted to exercise their rights and move away from a more centralized federal government.

I think the conditions are very similar to these previous wars. I would hope that we never have another civil war in this country. I don't think the citizens are ready to pick up arms against the government nor do I think the military is ready to start bombing their fellow citizens, but it is not beyond the realm of possibility. It has happened before. It was fellow citizens of the armed forces who started the War between the States. That is the reason the liberals in government want to disarm honest citizens. They have lost the war on taking guns directly, so they are now attacking our ammunition. It is very difficult to find certain types of ammunition. There is a law covertly making it's way around congress to make it even more difficult to buy guns. I wish that I could recall the bill.

It will take the citizens of this country to stand up and demand that this government move back to a constitutional government before things will change. If enough people take a stand we can make a difference. I believe we are at a pivotal point in our history. We will either move back away from a centralized government or totally embrace socialism/fascism and lose our country all together. I hope enough of our countrymen remember how this country used to be will stand up to make a difference. We need to educate our youth as to what our constitution means and what our country stands for.

avc, that video is a load of crock as are most of the comments, particularly that Pentagon one. Guess that idiot missed the Pentagon security cam video that showed the plane flying into the building.

Here's what happened to Building 7 and several of the others around the Tower's, the Tower's came down and the mountain of debris had to go somewhere as it came down. That debris went out away from the Towers' footprint's and slammed into the base of buildings surrounding the Tower's as it piled up in a small mountain. It acted like a mudslide and knocked the supports closest to the Tower's out from under this building and all of the others around there. Eventually the rest of the supports would give way under the immense downward pressure and all those buildings would fall if they hadn't already. I can easily venture that on the side of safety someone decided to demo those left halfway standing on purpose. They knew the buildings would fall eventually and instead of waiting around and possibly damaging other buildings and getting more people killed, they brought in a demo crew and finished what the Tower's had already started. So yeah, 7 and several of the others that were initially standing were probably brought down on purpose in the interest of public safety. Ever thought of that? There was no way those buildings could be re-built without knocking them the rest of the way down and starting all over again from the ground up. It isn't/wasn't a govt. cover-up.

As for Bush and Cheney being appointed in 2000, that's the Electoral College for you. It is possible to win the popular vote but lose the electoral college. To win the EC you only need to win 11 states, ie: take all the biggie's that are 15 or more EC votes. Yes Al Gore won the popular vote, but he failed to win enough of the biggie EC states. Obama won 9 of the 11 biggies which meant McCain would have needed to win darn near all the rest of the states and that wasn't going to happen.

I agree that the system has become corrupt. The reason is because of apathy of the American people. Until the average American citizen demands and holds these people accountable things will not change. The thing politicians fear most is losing power. There are so many people who receive a check from the government that it is difficult to get citizens involved in the process. After all, they would be cutting the hand off that feeds them.

One way to start the change is to find good, honest people who are willing to run for office and uphold the Constitution. Find people who have worked for a living and perhaps ran a business or farm. Stop electing lawyers to office. That is another problem with these people and the current system. Consider running for office yourself. It can be rough on your family running for public office. Average citizens need to become involved in running our government. If you don't want to run for office of seek out a good candidate, then at least start holding accountable those who are in office. Write, email or call them to express your views on how they should vote on issues that are important. Let them know that you are watching them and how they vote. Check the background and voting record of those who are running for office. You can't blame everything on these people. We need to accept part of the blame ourselves. After all, it is either our vote or apathy that has allowed these people to get elected and stay in office.

No, if the votes were allowed to be counted Gore would have won the EC too !!!

The appointment of Bush and Cheney in 2000 was conducted by a drug addict Supreme Court Justice named Rehnquist who was a Republican appointed by Richard Nixon, he put the Nixon gang lead by Bush Senior back in the White House, then they stole another election in 2004 with the help of Ohio Republicans and Diebold voting machines.
