As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
    The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
    Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

That nice officer went under the truck checked it out. then head under the trailer. the next thing I hear is oh sh-t. he come out from under that trailer. covered in pee and crap... he just smelled horrible. well he comes up to me in the truck. and says my laod is leaking.. I just looked at! and with out missing a beat.i: said, next time. maybe you shouldn't crawl under a loaded cattle pod!!!

If you drive late night and real early morning hours I doubt you will even have to worry about a roadside by the dot ...I can't recall ever seeing a roadside being done from 2200-0500 .

I will say sorry if I sound mean also. Sorry heard that story about a million times now every DOT officer out there must be covered with that stuff by now. Right up there with the New York drive over a car(so many cars its beyond belief by now), Moose story(not enough moose in the wild for it to happen as much as I hear that one), and every Federal Marshall(nothing to do with the day to day operation of scales) scale story running around.

Always a funny story to be sure, but a very old one. Right up there with "I aint got no panties on" why anyone still thinks thats close to funny is beyond me.

Im not calling you a lair so please dont take it that way. Could have happened no doubt but I doubt that a DOT guy would be that dumb. Might have been new on the job who knows.

Just please all you newbie drivers just leave the above stories out of you line of truck stop bs story time. If you really must tell one of them please start with "Once upon a time a driver............."

I didn't notice much of a difference in MD. It did seem like PA was out in more rest areas. I never got pulled in though.
