_____ damned cops always are setting up in speed traps anyway, they do the same thing in these small southern towns, it would be different if they were not looking to make money by trapping folks.

'Tis easier to downshift 50 times than to look for another job ONCE.

I understand the concept of "maintaining speed," but.... that should NOT be your only goal. Your goal is to truck safely AND stay employed!

Has it occurred to you that the trooper knows your "goals" better than you? He wasn't sitting at the TOP of the hill.... was he?

BTW.... do you have any way to pull a record from your GPS for that exact timeframe? Or the computer from your truck? Those would be extremely useful to the lawyer.

Well??? How do you think they earned that status??

Not by wiggling down tight alleys without a 911 call record to prove it! Or a police report! Come to think of it..... you're well on your way!

That's the silver lining? Yeah, if you wait until the end of the day to do the log book it would be pretty sad if it didn't look 100% legal.

As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
    The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
    Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

Pfft, going down I65 in KY today, I noticed my mud flap looked wrong for some reason, so I figured I would check it out when I got to the truck stop a few miles down the road. Went through the scale house right before the truck stop, got the green, and rolled into the petro at exit 86. Parked in the fuel island cause I needed to get fuel, went back to check the mud flap, the entire bar was loose, one side dragging on the ground! Obviously the one mud flap was all tore up. So I went to the shop at the petro, they welded it back on, put a new mud flap on, I went and got my fuel. Get back on the road, and exactly 10 miles down, at exit 76 I hear a BOOM, sounded like a bomb went off, I looked in my mirror, and I just see this explosion of stuff from under my trailer, so I pull over, check it out, blow out on one of the inner tires. So I am sitting here waiting on the tire guy. While sitting here (I still am as of this writing), a woman pulls up in front of me, and walks up and asks me, "By any chance have you seen a goat wandering around?" I am like... WHAT? She says she has a farm on the other side of the trees where I am parked and she said she lost her goat.
