My avatar was the logo for an on-line hot sauce store I used to own before its catastrophic failure in 2006 (the dragon is holding a bottle of hot sauce). My handle is a reversed spelling of the fastest flying insect on the planet (up to 40 MPH), the normal spelling often already having been taken.

Once while riding my bicycle along the Pacific ocean from Palos Verdes Estates to Santa Monica, CA a dragonfly tracked alongside for about a mile, including winding around turns and always staying approximately 2 feet to the right of my head. It was one of the most extraordinary 7-8 minutes I've ever experienced.

Ancient cultures hold that an animal that expresses interest in a human becomes that human's totem for life. Hence my fascination with the species.

Yeah, them buggers really do fly fast! But, not fast enough to get out of the way when they meet my windshield doing 70 mph in the opposite direction!

Cool story tho, about the bike trip!

Guess my "totem" is a lizard then, eh?

Hey everyone, well I got my nickname when I used to be a bouncer in Las Vegas at the Palms Hotel (Rain Nightclub/Ghostbar). Working 2 jobs and doing 18 hour days I was pretty tired all the time and was too lazy to actually make something decent for me to eat at dinner time. My nights started at 9pm, so I would go to work and those of you that have been in the Palms Hotel know there is a McDonalds in there. Well pretty much every night I worked security at the night club for 2 years straight, my dinner was cheeseburgers from McDonalds! Needless to say I hate them now! Anyways after a while the guys started calling me "Wimpy" because of all the cheeseburgers I ate and it just seemed to stick. So I thought that would be a good handle for CAD.
I'll gladly pay u tuesday for a hamburger today.

If used your line of thinking, I would be called "Mr. Buffet", as in all you can eat not the awesome singer from South Florida!
