Default The State of New Hampshire..

I'm on a special 4 load run on the system and i have had the distinct opportunity to visit the fine state of New Hampshire..

Can someone please tell me why there motto is "Live Free or Die" Also constant interstate signs for the New Hampshire Liquior and Lotto Store.. Almost forgot the Moose Crossings!!! WTF is up wit New Hampshire?

Maine, Mass, CT aren't that bad beyond the bad drivers.. The Drivers up here (Car and Truck!!) are horrible, just rude as hell and don't try to help you out one bit (i.e. sliding over in the middle lane because a disable truck or car is on the side, the four wheeler wants to stay in the middle lane even tho he can slide over to the far left!!)

NH is a messed up state, watch it too if you are going to any stores, they like to hide them behind tree lines and it is hard as hell to tell where the entrances are

As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
    The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
    Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt

the motto live free or die is a quote from General John Stark a revolutionary general from NH. the motto was adopted during world war II. Guess I do remember something from elementary school

Moose are a real problem in NH. They stand six feet at the shoulder and weigh over a thousand pounds.
When hit by a car they tend to fall through the windshield and roof killing or severely injuring the driver. Had a few close calls myself growing up in Northern NH.

No sales tax and no State income tax. They also have one of the smallest legislatures in the country. In many ways, New Hampshire is a fine example of how all States should be run.

They're also the #1 supplier of booze, butts and big ticket items to the citizens of the (hopelessly broke)State of Maine who frugally choose to shop there and save. The rotten drivers are the former M*******s who wised up and moved or at least have vacation homes there. The moose are harmless . . except when they're crossing the street or they're ruttin' . . the moose equivalent of perpetual wood.

New Hampshire is also an open carry State. Strap one on!

A moose crossing the highway will disable a truck instantly, if you hit it.

But, I believe, back when I used to run up there all the time, I was charged a sales tax when I bought anything. There are a few drivers that are something less than intelligent, but for the most part, I thought the people there were among the best in the country. Yes, I have had someone pass me on the shoulder when another truck was in the left land, but that was only one time. And, the driver that did so was from MA, not NH.

But they are also an independant lot. And, "LIVE FREE OR DIE" is something you will hear from time to time in conversation as well. I don't have a problem with that concept either.

I sometimes stop in Oklahoma and have a buffalo burger at restaurant just west of OKC. They are pretty good burgers. I don't know why we don't have more buffalo on menu's across the country. It is much more healthy than beef.

Because you'd have to have a lot of buffalo to generate that much meat and we'd have stampedes all over the place. What do you say we set up a buffalo farm just outside of DC GMAN?
