I just read it in the new May issue of Challenge Magazine, on page 43 at the end of an article on idling, they say that Pilot signed a deal with IdleAire to install IdleAire in every single current and future company owned Pilot.

As I sit looking all around,
Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt.
I don't see how they will have room for the trucks to park with the idleaire. Idleaire is losing money so they spend more for additional locations.![]()
I know it doesn't make much sense. This is severely going to handicap available parking overall. Idleaire takes up much more space then conventional parking, and make it much harder to do any inventive parking.

Scary Just Scary... i don't want to even picture this!! ESPECIALLY AT TROUTVILLE, VA and GREENVILLE, VA
They are going to need bigger parking lots.
Don't trust anybody. Especially that guy in the mirror.
Is Idle Air those big yellow vaccuum looking hoses? What do they do, stick them in the window?
i think they're doing it to make it official that they do NOT want truckers there....at all. it'll make pilots even worse. gawd, i don't wanna imagine how the pilot in ogden, ut will become.
or the Pilot in Cambridge, OH by the Kmart, fits maybe 9 trucks or something, haha
Maybe they shouls try something new at the Pilot, like installing a truck stop.

I am interested in seeing how this is going to work!Kinda of scary when you picture some of these Pilots, and then imagine IdleAire on top of the already logistical nightmares of their parking lots.
Arguing on the C.B. is kinda like running in the Special Olympics, 'cause even if you win your still retarted.
Destroy the cities...and they will rebuild them.Destroy the farms...and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.
Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...and grass will grow in the executive offices.
The bill has come due.

That is exactly what it is!
IdleAire, Inc. ... the In-Cab Services Leader
It seems to be a very neat invention, but as everyone has already pointed out here it is not very practical when for a parking lot.
I see about as many not using IdleAire as are connected at some of these truck stops. Some are actually blocking trucks from parking in those spots unless you pay IdleAire. IdleAire isn't very practical. It takes up too much space and if you are a non smoker it can really smell bad from all the smoke. I never use IdleAire. I can idle my truck for what it costs to connect to it.
If I was near a big city while driving, I'd just hang out at the mall during the uber-hot weather.
