You can buy R12 almost anywhere in the world but the U.S. In fact, you can buy it just across the border in Mexico. Bring it across the border and it is worse than smuggling drugs.
Freon is heavier than O2 so it is therefore impossible to damage the ozone way up in the air. If you get a bottle and place a freon meter 5 feet above the bottle and another meter right beside the bottle then spray some out, the meter 5 feet above will never detect it. The meter sitting on the ground will go nuts. Every time I've showed someone that little experiment they always claim that I wasn't using freon. They believe it is another gas that is heavier because they have been brainwashed to believe freon is lighter than O2.

This whole matter or global warming is about money. Parts of our country has seen record snow and cold. If you notice we haven't heard much from these global warming nuts lately. It is difficult to tout global warming when there are record cold and snows. Al Gore has made a fortune off of this scam. California is also making a fortune off of global warming. It is big business.
Ain't that the truth, go back and look thru all the weather records that have been recorded. You see the same cycles/patterns but Al Gore says those are wrong and flawed.........his studies can prove those are wrong. Guess he has some time machine.

Some people will never be convinced that what we are seeing is nothing but a naturally recurring cycle and not something that man can do anything about nor has had any influence. Many of the laws we have seen come into existence in recent years are put into place for revenue generation. It is amazing that so many people buy into this global warming myth.

After the severe winter we've just experienced here (actually 2 record cold & snowy winters in a row now), I'd welcome some Global Warming.
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.

I honestly don't believe they know what's causing all the global warming, if the actual warming is real. How do they explain the past Ice-Ages? We didn't have all the chemicals in the air that we are putting there now. What caused them?

And, for that matter... The recent "experiment" by the auto industry...
Where the fuel tank would leak off a full tank of hydrogen in about 14 days...
What happens to hydrogen in free air? Does it mix with the air or does it filter it's way up through the atmosphere? When it gets to the ozone layer, does it combine with the ozone and come back down as rain or does it pass right through and go to the very outer layer of our atmosphere? And if it goes up there? what next? They've taken pictures out in space of hydrogen clouds drifting away from other planets. Does ours drift off in space too? That would suggest that we're depleting our water supply, the life-blood of our planet and required for all life to live, every time we see a truck with "HYDROGEN - REFRIGERATED LIQUID" stencilled on the side.

What happens when CA gets a hold of this?????
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.
    ( R E T I R E D , and glad of it)

They're like what, only 10-15% of the entire demographic here now?

If anything, I still say California was doomed when they abandoned the concept of light-rail in the '50s, only to bring it back in the early 90's after seeing how much of a colossal fail that "adding more freeway lanes" became.
If anything, it's comparable to sand-bagging a swollen creek around your house at the moment of a massive flood. Except everyone else told you it would be a bad idea from the get-go.

When that happens, hopefully I've already made it out of here with something.
As of right now, I'm butting heads with other students at the local JC who snicker at my intention of transferring out-of-state.
Please, I've got much better chances of transferring to and succeeding at, say, UNM at Albuquerque or something as opposed to fighting with millions of others for a spot at a school in the UC or CSU system.

Since I'm having to refocus, education within this state seems to have been dragged down the crapper as well.
I want to learn what I have to, then get out.
Not deal with the consistent, high-school drama that most California-bred kids seem to retain after too many years.

They can take Chicago too, actually all of Illinois, especially the politicians.
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

Citizens can change our government. It is a matter of getting involved. Write letters, make phone calls and contact media to express your views. If enough people become involved and let these crooked politicians know how we feel then they will make changes. If they fear a rebellion then they will change the way that they do things. The thing they fear most is losing power.

The problem with that GMAN is getting enough people to actually get involved. There needs to be a leader to stand up and organize everyone.

The important thing is to get started and take action. A leader will often evolve during the process.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Blacksheep. I bet we could get a lot of dead people to vote in Chicago.
