I've always wondered how the truck stops up in Canada compare to the ones here in the U.S. Are they cleaner, bigger, better customer service, etc, etc.

I've always wondered how the truck stops up in Canada compare to the ones here in the U.S. Are they cleaner, bigger, better customer service, etc, etc.
I'll gladly pay u tuesday for a hamburger today.
The few truck-stops in Canada that I have been to, have been at par with what is available in the US.
In Canada they still have "Huskey" truck-stops. "Huskey" in the US sold out to Flying J back in the early 80's. In fact, that was how Flying J started their business. Buying up Huskey's MT, ID, and UT assets.
I think the food available in CA is a tad bit better. Now..I have only operated in Ontario province, so food quality may be different in the western provinces, as well as further east...but most of the food I have had in Ontario was much better than what TA, Petro or the J offer down here.
Truck services I can not comment on. I saw one TA in Ontario that offered truck service. The Huskey's that I saw or stopped at, did not offer truck service, but truck dealerships are much more accessible from the road than they are down here.
