It wasnt Monday cuz I went to Pissburgh, I mean Pittsburgh on Monday. I71 from Cleve to Col and I80/76 from South Bend to New Stanton Pa are likely places to catch me running. I know, I live a boring life.

A couple of people have contacted me and asked if I was driving such and such a truck at xyz truck stop. So far, none have seen me when they thought hey did. So, I thought I'd give a little heads-up this week.
I deliver in Akron, OH on Monday, and for the rest of the weekend, I will be sitting here at Truck World in Hubbard, OH. It's one place that actually has enough room to maneuver a truck into a parking space, and reasonably good food. Love those HOT SAUSAGE SANDWICHES at the hot-dog shop.. Gona get one right now.

Confusion and uncertainty is all I found.
The answers are there,
But I do not know where.
Optimistic and hopeful dreams,
Are all I have so it seems.
The future I do not know,
So all I can do is take it slow.
But I do know it will work out,
So I wait and watch without a doubt.

I think there is another place on the other end of town that has a regular sit down resturant and decent size parking lot. It is on the left hand side of the road.

West Winds is at the east end of town. The place with the Arby's is on the west end. Or at least it was the last time I was there. Hhmmm.... don't think they've had a big enough wind to switch that around.... No, don't think so....

Dows Junction, IA I 35 x 159
The truck stop is brand new. It has a very big "COMING SOON" sign and a much smaller "NOW OPEN" sign that I didn't see until I had already commited to the state rest area across the street, which is the purpose of this post.
This may be the smartest truck stop owner on earth!
I didn't drive onto the truck stop lot but it doesn't look like they have much truck parking, if any. Why would they? The almost as new rest area, directly across the street, has at least 60 huge truck spaces. The walk from the further of two very clean and well lit, concrete paved, state maintained truck lines to the front door of the convenience store is . . 200 yards, maybe? The truck stop has 5 or 6 fuel lanes (with pay lines, I suspect), so it would be very convenient to pull in there, conduct your business, pull back across the street and shut down for 10 hours.
I didn't check for showers or laundry but the mensroom is big and clean. They have all the usual snack/soda/coffee crap as well as Godfathers Pizza (open), Arby's (tba) and an extra cooler door for those who may be inclined. The rest area facilities are clean and in excellent shape as well.
