A couple of months ago, I had one in KY (not a low-rider) that was bound and determined to pass me as the right lane was being cut off. He took out three of those orange barrels, but didn't touch me. My first clue was a muffled "BOOM", then another one as I could see his hood. The third one came as he got in front of me. Right lane closed, and he just had to get ahead of me. Sure would have liked to have seen his grill. He didn't stop, so neither did I. And, I never caught up with him either.

Like I said... He took out 3 of those barrels, but never touched me. And, they sure do make some noise when you hit them.

Why is the tractor in the first photo against the guardrail, and not in the other two pictures?

[oh, I get it. The lowrider is parked in FRONT of the tractor.]

Why didn't the driver see the lowrider in either his right mirror, his right fisheye mirror, or his right fender mirror?

Why is all the damage to the lowrider in the REAR fender? That would mean that about 80% of the lowrider should have been ahead of the tractor, and visible through the windshield.

Is that an actual LANE he's parked in? Or the shoulder? If it's the shoulder, it looks as though he could have gone on for plenty of time to clear ?you?

Not passing any judgement here.... just trying to gather the facts.

That's a KW hobo, the hood is 8' high and the blind spot could hide a 747. Even the most attentive driver could miss a car sneaking around down there in heavy "cut throat" traffic. I know I do in mine every so often. The dent in the rear quarter panel is from the pick up thinking if he put his truck in the way the KW would not hit him, he failed to understand the KW never even saw him.

ok here's the deal. I am sitting still because traffic is backed up, I had just got on the road and was beside the end of the get on ramp on my right, the pick up came to the end of the ramp and instead of merging behind me. he came up beside me and hit my bumper, I was watching in front of me because it was stop and go and like I said, there wasnt a road on my right, anyway, I heard a noise like a scrape and felt my truck move, I look over and he is against my bumper, now instead of stopping or backing up, he floors it and drags the side of his truck along my bumper until he is in front of me, then he stops in the middle of the travel lane, gets out, throws his hands up, and yells, WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU?? I told him to pull over out of the road which is why we are both on the side with him in front, he tells me, you are supposed to let me in, I said, I probably would have if I had know you were there, he thought it was my fault right up until the cop told him different, he didnt get a ticket, but the report does list him as being at fault
on a side note, he is about 5'9 and maybe 120 pounds, I am 6' 200 pounds, when we got out, it went from WHAT THE F*** IS WORNG WITH YOU? to what happened man?'I thought that was amusing

I had a guy do that to me Fredog, he acted all punkish like it was my fault until he realized there had been a cop in an unmarked unit right behind me that watched him drive right over into my side. He was lucky to not go to jail, when the cop walked back to his cruiser he started running his mouth about entrapment and how the cop couldn't technically do anything and this was all BS. Biggest problem was that he lied to his insurance company and told them I had drove over into him and then jumped out and tried to fight him.

On US-23, in MI, the truck in front of me had that happen. A kid was driving and Daddy beside him. It was the trucker's fault until the cop got there. When I went by, the trooper was on his sixth page in the ticket book, Daddy was silent, and the kid was being VERY ATTENTIVE to what the cop was telling him.
