    Default Trailer hub cap clips

Anyone familiar with the 3 clips that bolt to the oil cap on your trailer hubs? I want to clean the trailer up, but dont want to spring for the large Alcoa type covers because they will surely be stolen

My question is, can regular "off the shelf" truckstop caps be used with these hub clips, or do i need a special size cap?

    Thanks

Just leave the f'in things off!

Less expense, no chance of losing them, and if the wheels are clean & polished and the hubs painted, they'll look good anyway.
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.

The caps are not the same as the ones that fit over the nuts on your axle flanges on the drivers. I'm missing one on my trailer (The clips are there) & haven't found the right cap yet.

I know it's a sickness, spending my own $$ to make the thing look better.
