who ever became the next president would have had a tough job over the next few years. obama keeps lowering that 'magic number' which he determined what rich people make. so, what happens when the economy turns around and all these people start to make money again. like all the contractors, builders and real estate agents during the housing boom. all of a sudden their taxes go up along with their income bracket. these same people crying now will complain about their higher taxes.

all i can say is, everyone who voted for obama will get what they deserve. and when they bitch about things later, all i will say is that he is your president. you voted for him.

I hear you mommee... perhaps I voted for him, perhaps I didn't. But I do know that he is now our president and I will support him. I have heard, and read, the same numbers. $250,000 $200,000 $150,000. I just hope he stays in the $100,000s, one of the last votes he actually voted on, instead of voting Present, was one to raise taxes on anyone earning more than $42,000.
A little aside on that, how come it took him 15 minutes to vote ? Was he looking for the Present box to fill in ?

There was a lady in TX, who received an intimidating visit from some gentlemen who claimed to be with the secret service, based on a report from a volunteer.

Last night, there were reports on Drudge, where Iran warned the US to butt out of something or other. Another report where Iran has imprisoned a USA student, for some infraction. Another report where Hamas stepped up a rocket attack on Isreal.

The whole world is in political motion.
It is a dangerous world,, and we have many enemies, including those from within.

This was a pivotal election.
I doubt we will ever have another free election.

I have no illusions about my ability to change anybody's mind. Only you can change your own opinion.

I don't know what Drudge is...I identify with some of the "sentiments" of what "2" posted. Obama is here now. I hope I am wrong about him.

"I am grieved that he does not cherish human life in the same way I do…but as my dear friend said today, “Why is this even an issue? Why does a human’s opinion on when life begins even matter since life begins at the moment of conception…when God designed it to begin? This isn’t up for debate!”. We are all accountable for our own choices…accountable to God whether we believe in Him or not."

I am a woman that is Pro-Life. I realize that is a risky stance to take as a woman...but life IS precious. Maybe you could think I am a sheep or something for remaining strong in my personal beliefs. That's okay.

This is all over the place, I know, so to answer your second question is yes. I think we will become censored as never before.

Mr Obama's stance on abortion has nothing to do with his ability to effectively function as president ,and technically the presidents personal stance should not be imposed on the people...As choices like that need be left to the individual ...Life being precious is something people tell themselves to try and beleive people are special .

So what makes humans more special than say cattle when it comes to life..no i'm not a veegan I eat the hell out of beef/poultry...but most people that spout off about sanctity of life seem to have no issues with hunting or eating meat of slaughtered live stock ...I guess it's only certain life that is precious .
