Don't trust anybody. Especially that guy in the mirror.

So class let's review what have we learned through all this.
BigDaddy you got your pen and paper I know you like taking notes.
I don't want you to miss anything, Im about to school ya.
Rule #1
Never date a guy who thinks he's perty.
Rule #2
And when a guy asks for money, turn them pockets inside out and say
"My pockets is empty cuz, but smile and shrug"
LOL thanks guys you all helped cheer me up this morning, hey Tony, think you can make just one little trip to TX for me??
I need to remember those rules.. Get them tatted on my arm or something.![]()
Time for ya to just be a **** (nothing derogatory meant towards you) and just play the field. That's what I did after my last divorce. Now I'm a VERY happily married man to the best woman on the Earth.
Wanna play a couple online games that are absolutely free? These are the games I play on a very regular basis:
Battle of the West & Mobs Law
I think it was George Carlin who said...."take your pick: be married and bored or single and lonely." Whew...what a choice. I'd hate to go thru life with that outlook. The only person I can disappoint is myself. The only person I can let down is myself. The only person who depends on me is me.
Floored...you're young, pretty, and a self starter (gotta be to run your own trucking business). You'll bounce back for sure!!! Don't let yourself get jaded.
Floored,
Now is the time to step up to the plate. You have it in you, you just have to make it happen. Do it on your terms...... in the long run you will be gald you did.
Find something you like to do, be the best at it you can be, the money will come.
Does your family live in CA near you?
Move out of CA the state sucks and so does the water.
WA is an excellent state, awesome economy compared to the rest of the country, our gas prices are still high (thanks christine), But the housing is still pretty cheap, lots of jobs, the water tastes good. The benefits are endless.
If I wasn't in WA I would move to Alaska.
But I dig the cold so.
Actually I'm from Seattle. Been in Sacramento for 9 years now. I wish I could move elsewhere but the kiddos dad won't have none of that and would fight me to the death over me leaving with them. So I'll be in Sacramento until the little one is 18, then I'm outta here![]()
I really liked Sacramento - I lived there for a few years ('89 - '93). There is a little seafood restaurant in Placerville that served the best cioppino I have ever had. I mainly stayed on the Rancho Cordova side because I lived out in Placerville. I can only imagine that you wouldn't be lonely very long if you went out to the river...even if you aren't "looking", there are (or I guess I should say...were...it's been a long time) a bunch of fun people areound there. I really miss that area - I would go back if hte cost of living weren't so high. I can barely afford my kids living here...I couldn't imagine if I brought them out there.
However...if you need a place to "hide" in Texas...that is where I am!! You are welcome to crash at my crazy ADHD-circus of a house!

Aw, c'mon PhuzzyGnu.. .. that ain't right..
Floored, we may not know each other, but it still sucks when things don't work out  I'm glad you have some support here at CAD, however. Perhaps some time to yourself will allow you room to heal from emotional damage; of course, money can be replaced - although it sucks to have to replace it in the first place... You can have one of those NO VACANCY signs all the singers croon about on the heartbreak songs
I literally fell out of my seat when I read RostyC's comment![]()
The words didn't come to mind, just the picture![]()

Remember- the one constant in ANYONE'S failed relationships is THEMSELVES.
I'm sorry that came out wrong.
