    Default Russia/Georgia cease fire

    It was supposed to start at noon today but Fox news said they are not pulling out...in fact, maybe just the opposite...solidifying their position. They have transported missiles with nuclear capabilities...

    There are a lot of people that do not support the war in Iraq. What do you think the US involvement should be regarding Georgia? ...does the thought of this worry anyone?

    Russia is about to launch a strike against Poland from Georgia. Russia is angry with Poland about allowing us to install a weapons defense shield inside Poland. Per Russia's rules, they can use nuclear force against countries that help enemies(we and most of Europe) or straight up against the enemies. Poland has helped us so Russia is already discussing firing a couple of nukes on them.

    People don't put any stock into the crap that Iran spews because Imanutjob is nothing but talk. Israel will take care of him in short order anyway with few people getting bothered by it.

    Putin, on the other hand, doesn't say much. In addition, he doesn't think much of the United States. He's not worried about retaliation because he knows we don't have the stones to lob of couple of nukes in his direction if he goes after Poland. He'll just up and do it and thumb his nose at us, daring us to do something back.

    On the upside, it'll keep Obama out of office. :shock: Whether Bush enacts Executive Privilege (doubtful) or people switch their vote to McCain (likely) because of his experience, Obama doesn't stand a chance in the election. So, we'll keep most of our freedoms and our money for a few more years anyway.

    I think we need to stay out of it. USA is always getting involed in some BS all the time.

    I think we need to stay out of it. USA is always getting involed in some BS all the time
    Yeah, but if Russia goes after Poland, it becomes an all-out NATO problem and we'll be heavily involved.

    This stuff keeps my thoughts preoccupied. I worry about what life will be like for my kids..although that might sound overly dramatic...this has always been my worst fear!

    The troops that are in Iraq were what forces we had to use IF anything ever happened involving NATO however with the surge ended and everything getting better for now we would have more people to deploy if needed plus we could use Iraq as a second front against Russia if needed if they attacked Nato that plus their Navy is still in the pits.
