It seems everyone else has a 20 questions thread, so here goes...here's mine.

1. Why did you get into truck driving?

2. Why do you enjoy trucking in the great north on the ice roads?

How many cats do you have, do they go OTR with you and what breed are they? (see how I was so slick...cram three questions into one!!!)

Any of them Maine Coons? They are just like having a dog around!!!

1. Why? Well lets see there wasn't alot of opportunity for a farm kid with a grade 12 education when I started out, especially a girl...I didn't want to be like the other "girls" of my generation...married with kids by 21, I was far too independent for that, so I decided that I wanted a "life". I found that with my farm experience, I'd be operating some kind of equipment since I was 8 years old, trucking just seemed to suit me.

2. So many reasons...the quiet, the challenge, the scenery oh...did I mention the scenery?

I'm jealous Kat, I wish I could do that but my mom says the only ice roads I'll be on is at the ice rink and I can't even ice skate. :shock:

I have 2 cats

Maui is one, she is a 1/2 black torteous(sp?) shell & 1/2 siamese, 1 year old:



And Heidi is a very fat black & tan tabby, she road with me in the truck for 6 years.



I would like to take them with me again, but the roads I travel are so isolated & the winters are so long, cold & dark I just don't want to take the chance of a break down & putting them in any jeopardy.
