Expedited companies?

I know for the most part these companies deal with vans and straight trucks (which is what I can drive) but has anyone driven for one of these companies such as Panter or Tri-state. How is it? Is the money good? Is it all OTR (even with a van)? How do I get hired by one of these companies? And lastly are they all team? I ask the team question because I called panter the other day and they said they only hire teams.
