Default Anybody been to Alaska - What to Do, Don't, ect...

There is a chance I may be asked to go to Alaska - about 3,700 loaded miles to 99504.
The route should enter Canada from NW N Dakota.

I'm starting my thinking at a very high rate, then doubling it, for a round trip fare.

Are there any special considerations such as tolls or ferry rides, etc.?

And, can somebody please tell me how to stop the cursor from jumping all over the place... veeeeesta.

    Never mind...

    I quoted $52,000.
    Landstar quoted $15,000.

So you're trying to make a year's wages on one run to Alaska? That sounds reasonable.

Now maybe if you were going to Siberia via Alaska with a load radioactive waste than maybe you could get that much.

I took highway A2 to 1 to 37 to CA16 to 97 to 5 to CA1 and didn't run into any tolls....course once you try and return to America....the AMERICAN officials will charge like 5 to 10 dollars entry fee.

Do you have to bring your own pressurized air so the brakes will work?
