Default National speed limit pushed as gas saver

He who runs behind truck is exhausted, he who runs in front of truck is tired.

Never lend your car to anyone to whom you have given birth.

You have a cough? Go home tonight, eat a whole box of Ex-Lax, tomorrow you'll be afraid to cough.

Screw this politician and all like him.
I do not need the government telling me how to save some gas.
All this will do is cause more speeding tickets, and big fines.

this would be good if we were dealing with an oil shortage ,but there is plenty of oil ...it's just expensive, and driving 55mph instead of 65-75 in a car will not make large difference in what people are paying at the pump ...only a sharp drop in cost per gallon will make a note worthy differnce at the pump .

    Were screwed either way,

Drive less, drive fuel efficient vehicles, or just slow down and we use less fuel which means less fuel/gas tax is going into the highway fund which means the goverment is going to have to find another way to tax us to make up the differance to maintain the roads and highways.

Were not going to win either way!
My dispatcher wants to know why im not there yet, she says its only 2 inches away when she measured it on her map!
