Default My nominee for dumass of the week

    And the winner is..................ME

Okay, I know better, but I did it anyway. I decided to air off my tank instead of pumping. no problem so far, I get hooked up and turn the air on, getting ready to start unloading and lady there says, you got a leak on top of your tank. I see the rear wash out cap is leaking, so I shut the air off and climb up there, now I KNOW that the first thing I should do is bleed the air off, but do I do it? NO. ...I walk back and hit the cap with a hammer to tighten it. It turns a litttle and then....BOOM it flies off and just barely misses my face (It doesnt have a cable holding it) I get my face covered with 162 degree fat and get my eyes full. I also get to clean up 1000 pounds of grease off the ground. The blisters on my face went away after a couple days and my heart has restarted.. It's really bad when you know better and do it anyway. so go ahead and tell my how stupid I am, I cant argue with you this time..

Not saying one single word.... Mummmm's it.
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.

    WRONG.

    The correct answer is:

Next time, bring an umbrella and goggles.

It's a good thing you weren't hauling some type of toxic or caustic chemicals.

You might not be here right now to joke about it.

If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.

Yes, but substitute the business suit and briefcase for dirty sweatpants, a t-shirt with tears in it, and a handful of quarters for the Cherry Master.

I hauled sulfric acid for a few years, I never did anything that stupid during that time. I guess I got lax hauling non-hazmat. from now on, I'm going to handle everything as if it was hazardous..

That's it right there mannnn....handle each load like it is the absolute worst...fewer mistakes that way!

Really though...after laughing about it...I'm sure glad that you are alright! Even though it was non-haz...162 degrees is still hot enough to take your vision. You could have fallen off the tank...that would have doubled the misery. Glad you did not do that Dude!!
