Of all the TV Journalists, he was one of the best.
I looked forward to "Meet the Press" as he mastered the interview.
If someone sidestepped the question, they lost more than it was worth.
Russert was a class act, and everyone respected him.

Sundays won't be the same. I didn't mind skipping the interviews through the week...because of "Meet the Press." I'd toggle between that and "Sunday Morning" with Charles Osgood. Other TV Journalists I respect is Tom Brokaw, and Robin Meade...for brains and honesty.

Tim Russert had an incredible sense of journalistic integrity.

    Republican?? Democrat?? Conservative..... Liberal.... Independent??

Made no difference.... the "hot seat" was just as hot for one as it was for the other.

    RIP Tim, We'll miss you!!

Listening to the Satillite radio today and one of the talk show hosts, producers, chimed in refering to Tim Russert as a "Political Savant". His political analysis has always left me in awe, how somebody can be so aware of the polical arena and not be a politician. When I heard of his untimely death on Friday, my jaw hit the ground. He will be greatly missed. Nobody will be able to replace him.
