Does anyone know what trucking company this was? Who was at fault for the accident? What happened?

I don't know, but I may get to go that way after I get emptied out in Lakeland.
Destroy the cities...and they will rebuild them.Destroy the farms...and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.
Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...and grass will grow in the executive offices.
The bill has come due.

Thats a miracle that no one else was hurt or killed.
If you go to this part of their website, then look through the video clips...you get an idea of what might have happened. To ME, it looks like the tanker went off the bridge trying to avoid being involved with a "Can-hauler" and 4-wheeler that were tangled up in front of him.

Watch the news conference clip, the news helicopter clip...and listen to a couple of the 911 calls.

Be careful out there, especially around tankers. I guess he swerved to avoid someone. If it was me, I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and hit the car, unless you're able to swerve and NOT put your life in jeapoardy like this brave man did. Poor fella left behind a family
I've heard a lot of guys say they'll just keep the wheel straight. I've said it too. But I can also tell you that when the time comes, your reactions have "INSTANT SECOND THOUGHTS". You can not say what you really will do until you are confronted with the situation. Especially, when you see "INFANT SEATS" in the back seat, with kids in them.

I was at home...south of there when the accident happened.... The tanker driver tried to miss the ******* in the car...who "merged" onto I-75 improperly. Apparently the clown in the car "thought" he had the right of way. From what I recall....the news said the ****** bag in the car lost control of his car on the wet road....and that caused the tanker to take evasive action...which led to him going off the overpass.
I hope they charge the ******* with "vehicular homicide" and the family of the driver goes after every freaking nickle the ******* has....
I might do everything I can to protect kids from their stupid parents....but one person alone...thats going to be a hard call. I'll hit the brakes and do what I can....but I'm not likely to risk a rollover and death for a stupid fool who's alone..... Thats just how it is.
Oh, btw...for those of you not aware of the area...thats on the east side of Tampa...right near Brandon ....a town populated by more arrogant "yuppies" than the law should allow. So if you are driving through there, watch your step.....no matter what hour of the day.
From what I understand....the southbound side of I-75 was going to be closed for weeks to come. Haven't been home for a few days so I don't know the particular status of the road.
If you have to go that way....heading south....either take I-275 from north of Tampa to St. Pete over the Skyway Bridge...pay the toll, and it will dump you out below where the accident happened.... or take US 301 all the way around it.
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!
Remember: The "truth WILL set you free"! If it doesn't "set you free"....."it will trap you in the cesspool of your own design".
They lost my original "avatar"....oh well.
