    Default Adventures of a O/O who is taking this week off !!

    Woke up at 6 am, then showered and dressed, ( wife still asleep ) made coffee and daughters lunch. Woke child up at 7, by 745 drive kid to school. Started on invoices for past two runs and other truck's last trip... Now I just got back from dropping my trailer at TK for some maintenence...

    I will post about trip to the bank and other errands later....

    Just got off the phone with ironeagle2006.... I needed instructions for the ping-pong ball blower, the techs at Utility/TK shop are doing an experiment.....

    Evening update....

    We just finished up with dinner ( we live in the Pacific Northwest) I did Copper River Salmon on the BBQ, wife made risotto and asparagus. The child had spaghetti.

    Not much in the mail except two magazines (Newsweek and Transport Topics) and the American Express bill.....

    This A.M. mowed 7 acres of field pasture.... then washed the mowing deck.

    Having a turkey sandwich and starting on my Oregon Weight/Mile report for May 08....

    There you go again. You just gloss over things and mislead everyone. Sure, an O/O on hometime would LOVE to have a turkey sandwich but you leave out all the details. You left out what kind of bread, not to mention what else was on that bread besides the turkey. ( Mayo, letuce, tomato, ect....).     I want to know the fuel costs for the mowing, the psi of the water used to wash the mowing deck, and the cost of all the ingredients for the turkey sandwich. Anything less than that would be skimming on the details.

    I feel that I have let some people down...

    As for the Sammich, Turkey with Best Foods Mayo (aka Hellmans east of the Rockies), Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese, dijon mustard, lettuce, on Oat bran bread. Also Ruffles potato chips and Coca-Cola Classic....


    As for my Kubota tractor's fuel economy, I have recently installed a Turbo3000D VADA and I am awaiting my test results. Now to my power washer, I also have installed a Turbo3000 and the increase in performace and efficiency has been negligible......

    Well today I finished my paperwork, ran some errands, purchased my wifes b-day present, and picked up my monkey from school... For dinner tonight it is pizza night.....

    You are using "off road" fuel in your mower, right? Considerable savings can be realized. This is one way to achive professional mower guy status as compared to a "hobby mower". I would also look into selling your clippings directly as oposed to using a broker. 8)
    It's a cinch by the inch - By the yard it's hard....

    Since you obviously have no idea how to run a business because you haven't joined any of the other 14 O/O's in the nation that have been striking every other day by convoying for 8000 miles to prove how limited their intelligence is, then I simply don't believe you had the money to buy your wife a birthday present, much less buy pizza for dinner. Prove it. Post your receipts!
