    Default Truck wreck

This pic is from Monday afternoon when one of our drivers rolled his truck. How he made it out without a scratch on him is beyond me.

Dang man, them guardrails are dangerous little suckers. I have heard stories of drivers who have been killed by guardrails coming thru the window.

Is that some pavement he dug up also? What did he do, come around the corner too fast the trailer hiked out to the right on him an pulled him over? Lucky he didn't get pulled on down that hill.

I haven't talked to him personally yet, so I'm not sure exactly how it happened. The story in the newspaper said that he hit the guardrail, causing him to roll over it.

If a picture like that doesn't make you want to take it a little easier going around that next curve I don't know what will. And he walked away from that one . . . unbelievable.

Yeah Mal, looks like there ain't no shoulder on that road. I don't even see a white line on that side of the road. Looks like the road ends and then it's guardrail, no room for error. Good deal that he walked away, a passenger sure would not have walked away though.

I talked to one of the mechanics that they sent to the scene of the wreck. He talked to the driver for awhile up there. Apparently he was coming around the turn and met another truck. So, he moved closer (too close) to the shoulder. As soon as the tractor tire dropped off, it pretty much whipped him over into and over the guardrail. He said there was a good 6-9" drop from the pavement to the gravel.

Also, he said that the driver told him that he NEVER wears his seatbelt. However, the day he wrecked he just happened to put it on. He said that he hasn't worn his seatbelt in years.

I'd say that would be a message.
