    Default Dear CAD

10 Google ads on every page just doesn't seem to be slowing my computer down fast enough. Plus, I can still see a little bit of content without scrolling. Could you throw some more up please, and finish the job?

    Love,

    Rev.Vassago

IMHO - We have access to this site for FREE!

I can see some concern if we were "paying" to be here - but we aren't.

So, let ClassADrivers do what they have to to cover expenses.

    Again, this is my opinion.

Now, if we could only convince them to make some of the ads contain some porn....

Well..... that answers my question! I thought it was something "I" did!

But seriously, CAD..... I would rather have two banners above and below the text, than the stuff on the right side!! That seriously screws up my page size, and I won't know WHEN to bitch about someone's oversized pixtures anymnore!

Besides.... if I understand this crap.... those ads are supposed to be on your MAIN pages! NOT on the messageboards! At least.... that is how everyone ELSE does it (I think.)

And, just for shuts and giggles.... why wasn't something like this mentioned in your NEW FEATURES forum?? I checked there.... and NOT A WORD! Why HAVE such a forum if you aren't gonna USE it to WARN us about such things??

I feel like an Amercian voter! Kept in the dark and fed fertilizer for mushrooms! (or something like that!)

I guess the members of THIS forum.... the most POPULAR anywhere on the net.... don't matter! But, WITHOUT us..... what good would the ADS be??

Besides.... you got TWO ads that say the exact SAME thing! Offering LESS money than most of us make! Then ya got Swift! And a few others that could just as easily advertise under the forum set up FOR them!?

If ya GOTTA do it.... I guess because the cost of fuel has hurt YOU, too.... you gotta do it! But..... I don't get it! Your BEST advertising is happy truckers on this forum! Or at least, that's the way I see it!

But, I don't really care! If you wanna look like every OTHER trucker forum.... go ahead! I'm not leaving unless I get banned!

Hell.... what are we saying?? We're not even posting in the right FORUM for CAD to even pay attention to us! Nothing will change! Hey, Ridge!!! How about moving this whole thread to the ASK CAD forum so he/she will notice???

There is another thread going on regarding this, too. I am linking it, so that you can make your opinions known. My own opinions are on that other thread, but I will reitterate this:

Please be adult and constructive about things. If you want to get something resolved --- and I do not disagree at all that there are issues here --- you need to approach it the right way.

    Thanks everyone.

Well, thanks for the link, T/W!!! I would NEVER have thought to look on the "survey" forum for something that just "happened" in the middle of my posting session WITH NO WARNING!

Site SOLD??? With NO warning on ANY FORUM including the one about NEW rules and procedures?? (or whatever they call it?)

I THINK I"m being MUCH more adult about this than SOME people have been! Meaning the ones who owned it!

But, NO MATTER.... I will continue to check/post on both threads as I see how things shake out. It's NOT such a big deal to me.... I just don't like SURPRISES!

Gotta go mow my Dad's yard now.....be back later.... IF there's still a place to come BACK to!

Yeah, I second that..... give us Porn...more Porn Please.. they pay big dollars anyway for just a little ad space--- way more than any Trucking company will good business since here... .

And just a suggestion to those who don't want the ads---Mozilla Firefox and a good pop-up blocker will do wonders.

I kept wondering what everyone was talking about cuz all I see is evreything is shifted to the left and a lot of white space on the right. Blocker must be working!

Glad to see it's NOT my computer.

I just switch to a static IP, and thought that my switch slow things way down.

You all need to give out a little warning....I was starting to have a fit.

Thanks for this post....now I can relax.

Will that adblock for ie block all ads on the page, or just pop-ups?

edit: Well, I installed it and I see the exact same google ads all over the page. Also, when I try to update it the program crashes...

edit 2: I downloaded Firefox and installed the AdBlock on it. OMG I love it. Now, what was the complaining about again?
