I like the bed and the raised couch over the top of it....sweet,and at only 309" not extremely impratical.

Lets see here COE with the sleeper size of a BEDBUGGER and the wheelbase of conventainal what is the weight though. As long as it is around 18-19K would be usable.

With a tractor like that you'd probably be pulling specialized freight, or possible doing tours for bands, expo's, etc.

you notice how the lower cowling opens for easy access to the drivers side, last photo on bottom. I remember getting into an old cab over, needed a ladder?

Ya - I loved the fold out steps on the drivers side. If you look at the passenger side, you can either climb the side of the truck (aka normal cabover) or you can use a ground level entrance with inside steps.

Wonder how much a truck like that would cost

I just got an e-mail back from the builders. The truck weighs in at approx. 26,000 lbs. A little heavy, but great for bands and such.

I thought the fold out steps on the drivers side was a standard option, or at least an option on the Argosy. Am I wrong?

26k for the truck isn't all that bad. My Volvo 780 with an empty dry van weighs 34k.
