Default Thought this was a bit out of place.

I was driving home this morning, and was stopped at a redlight. This huge sleeper over the road style tractor was turning to the left. Really big red tractor and beautiful I must add lol. He was pulling a gravel hauler dump trailer. I mean the Tractor was almost bigger than the trailer it's self. I don't usually see that, usually see the daycabs pulling those kind. Maybe he was just dropping it off somewhere? I highly doubt he used that 24/7. Just wondering though.

Ya never know, though if I were to bet on things by your description I would say he was delivering the trailer.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

Several local rock haulers by me have the huge sleepers. Way too big for someone who only needs a daycab because they are home every night.

I see a lot of sleeper cabs hauling dirt and gravel. Most likely they are O/O.

The company I drive for uses dump trailers to haul scrap metal OTR.

Was the wet line hose for the hoist actually connected to the tractor?

If it was, then you could assume he was hauling material with the trailer, if not, then he was probably just delivering the trailer.
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.
