Yes. They are O/O only, and the reason they are so huge is twofold.

    1. They spend huge amounts of time waiting for loads much of the year. Even more so now, since the total amount of loads has been down this year.

    2. They generally have much lighter loads than a dry van, and can afford to use up some of that on a bigger sleeper.

I got a United truck. My sleeper is only 86" (aerocab). Teal runs for atlas and only has a 72"

But, in agreeance, the HHG drivers tend to have bigger sleepers. Its better than paying tax on revenue, and putting it into the truck

Saw an Atlas T-2000 mid-roof last friday evening, at the TA in Prescott AR, with a 110" sleeper. Looked like the O/O had the frame stretched himself...not a factory job for certain. You could tell where the Sleeper was sectioned in.

When I see the "Bigg'uns", I like the smooooth styled looks that the units like what the Rev drives, has.

I own one of the trucks you are talking about and it is nice not having to use a shower that everyone else uses with athleates foot.
    I am in need of a co-driver.
We run on a dedicated account out of Plainfield In. and we are useally home a couple of times a week and useally at least one week end day.
    If interested you can E-mail me at gilletts@ccrtc.com or call H - 765-386-6223 or Cell - 903-466-2894
