    Default JB Recruiters...Some new information

Just a little FYI for my buddys out here.

Ive mentioned this before, but thought I would bring it back up. A few months ago I told you all that our recruiting group was going to be outsourced to other companies. ( We will be recruiting drivers for other companies besides JB) Today is the day when that starts.
the jobs ive seen so far look great. These are not dry van jobs....so far they are mostly tanker jobs (sorry cluggy). Many of these jobs require quite a bit of experience and an almost perfect driving record. Like I said, these are not JB hunt jobs.
The reason I tell you all this is because I know we call you all a lot and many drivers get tired of that and just hang up. Now is the time when you might want to listen to what we have to say.
Anyone that has had us remove you from the calling list and we never bother you anymore.....I guess you are SOL.

I know we call you all a lot
42 calls from 5 JB recruiters in 6 days and you all wonder why we hang up.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

2 reasons why we call you so much:

    A. It works
    B. They pay me a bunch of money to bother you..

Really, I dont mind you hanging up on me....It helps me do my job. I dont want to waste my time talking to someone that doesnt want a job.
So feel free to hang up. I would rather burn through 100 calls looking for one good driver than spend my time actually speaking.

Like I said, I was posting this to tell you all out here that we are now recruiting for other companies and anyone interested might want to listen instead of hanging up.

Why are JB trucks so slow? I feel bad for the drivers as a swift blows their doors off

I have heard of some of the good accounts you guys seem to have but sorry not doing 62-63 in a 70 mph state. I see your trucks around so i dont think your having a issue of putting ppl in the seat.

We dont have the slowest trucks on the road...we are just TIED with the slowest.

Also, the jobs Im talking about that we are about to start recruiting for are NOT JB trucks, nor would the driver be driving for US. We are just recruiting for those companies. So I dont know what speed the trucks would be set at.

I will post the companies as soon as I know its ok to post the companies.
I know the first job I will have today is a tanker company out west. Colorado and California I believe. Hourly position and home everyday. I believe they said it requires 3 years experience plus a absolutely clean driving record. I will know more when they release the info.
Also, Im really not supposed to be using this thread for recruiting...CAD rules. The reason I posted this info was just to remind drivers that the next phonecall you get from a JB recruiter might not be a JB job.

Ok...I just got one of those jobs open. I still dont know if i can post the name of the company so im not going to. But check this out. The job that just opened is in northern washington state. Tanker job. Pays 18.78/hr + .428/mile. 70k per year!!!!. Also it doesnt do us evil recruiters to lie about this job. The only thing we are doing is setting the driver up for an interveiw with that company. More jobs to follow all over the country.
Yeah....go ahead and continue to hang up on us JB recruiters...
PS....I dont know if the trucks are slow or not. lol

First of all, I'm hurt. I would think that your main goal is for YOU to recruit me for one of these jobs. Think of the bragging rights you would have at your office. You could go around and yell "I bagged a Cluggy!!!"

Second, as long as it wasn't for JB, why would I care what job you called me about? A great job is a great job, even if served by you. Kinda like getting a great steak dinner served on a garbage can lid. If the lid is clean, why not?

Third, I've come to realize that the only reason I bash JB is because someone else (usually you) reminded me to. I really don't care anymore. Don't bring me into a discussion about JB, and i could care less. I got other thing to do now. :P

Let us know what the list is when you can. That alone, will surely build onto your income......hell, I might even give you a call.
Deja moo. It's when you feel you have heard this BS before.

    I work directly for JB.

ANd yes Cluggy, if I see one of these jobs open up in texas, I will tell you.
Commissions are all the same no matter who I hire. But keep in mind I am still a JB hunt employee. My job is to fill JB trucks. Im sure once I get the complete details of how we are supposed to work this....they will tell us to offer JB jobs first and then throw these other jobs out there.
Im thinking if recruiters go crazy and spend all their time trying to fill these positions and forget about our trucks, this program will go away really fast.
Also keep in mind I have no idea how many of these jobs we are going to get or in what areas. So far the jobs I have seen have been way out in the middle of nowhere. Im thinking that even though these jobs seem to pay great, they are still going to be hard to fill. Otherwise these companies wouldnt be needing us to fill their trucks.

so far the jobs ive seen require:
    Tanker and Hazmat endorcements
    A really clean driving record
    3 years class A experience
and for some reason at least a high school education.

And yes, the jobs Ive seen were all local. I saw one that said "team position" but it also said delivering within a 150 mile radius. A local team job?????? Yeah....it didnt make any sense to me either. Maybe Im missing something there.

Maybe need two ppl to work as a team like ok im going to be at xyz at 1700 and the other driver better be there. I know the mail guys use one of our yards to swap out drivers after their 10hrs and neither one better be late without a good excuse.

as for calling me if you find something in the northern IN or GR, MI area just PM me having my cell out there for all your recuiters is a no no in my book

Sounds to me that the sheepster is using this board for recruitment purposes. I was under the impression that that is not allowed. I could be wrong though, it has happened before.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like to be hit with recruitmant ads or spam while I am visiting this board. Maybe this should be moved to the "Truck Driving Jobs" forum or maybe even the "Class A Drivers Comedy Club" forum. :P

    Just a thought though.

    WAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAA

Actually I wasnt recruiting for these jobs yet. I was just giving a heads up to people that might be interested in knowing that us JB recruiters are now going to be recruiting for multiple companies and some of these jobs are going to be really really high paying jobs.
In fact I just got out of the training meeting for this and this program is going to be way bigger than I thought. A few months down the line I could be recruiting for 20 different companies for all sorts of jobs

That would mean more than $500 per week. :P :P
