Default Opie & Anthony return to XM announcement

This is for the O & A fans - if you're not a fan, there's no need to reply, comment, etc. Thank you

I received this email today and thought I'd pass it along

    Attention O&A Fans,

There's so much speculation on the blogs and fan sites about O&A's return that we thought we'd take a minute to give you the facts directly.

During Opie and Anthony's XM suspension, they continued to broadcast on CBS Radio; and, we have compiled the "Best of" O&A's CBS shows from the last few weeks for you.

Starting Monday, June 11th through early morning June 15th, we'll air these "Best of" O&A CBS shows at multiple times throughout the day for our listeners across the country. We'll also air Ron and Fez live, and we'll re-air that program throughout the day as well.

The Virus, Channel 202 Schedule Starting Monday, 6/11 (all times are ET):
6:00 a.m.: "Best of" CBS (NEW)
9:00 a.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
12:00 p.m.: Ron and Fez Live (Noon)
3:00 p.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
6:00 p.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
    9:00 p.m.: Ron & Fez Replay from 12 noon
12:00 a.m.: Ron & Fez Replay from 12 noon (Midnight)
3:00 a.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
6:00 a.m.: NEW "Best of" CBS (NEW)

This schedule will repeat until Friday morning at 6:00 a.m., because, as previously announced, Opie and Anthony will be back on XM live at 6:00 a.m. ET on Friday, June 15th. And the Virus channel's normal programming schedule will resume.

Finally, O&A fans who may have cancelled service as a result of the suspension, XM will waive the reactivation fee (normally $14.99) through June 30th. Please note that this offer is only available by calling 1-800-XMRADIO to reactivate.

I saw that, I guess it's a bad attempt to bring the O&A fans back to XM for their return.

    Anna??
Yeah, since Anna's gone. Larry Birkhead turned out to be the father of Dannielynn so Howard has nothing to keep him in the news anymore. He's done, no more money for Howard Stern!

I guess it's a good thing you don't own the board, then.

This is pointless information you have posted, and not truck driver related in any way, shape, or form.

O and A find it funny to laugh at the fact that a guys girlfriend died of cancer. I'm done listening to those 'tards.

I'll stick with NPR and BBC.

I tried to live without my XM, but after driving back and forth across Ohio for 4 days and changing the FM station every couple of truck lengths, I just couldn't hold out.

Well, I'll be completely honest here - the only time I ever heard Stern was when he had his tv show. Watched it (well, tried to) a few times but just couldn't get into it. As far as Sirius, when it came time for me to get my satelite radio, I literally flipped a coin to decide which to buy and XM came up. Before I got my XM I had never heard of O & A (I'm from a tiny town with only local dj's). It took me awhile to get into the b-b-boys.

It's off-color humor, and, no, it's not for everyone.

Serious question (I don't have a clue): what is NPR?

I have been doing it too. I don't really want to go back to XM, but getting tired of getting the show a day late now and sometimes the recordings are bad. I'll probably go back though.

I like the thread over on WB.com. What will be the first words said when they go back live?

Not sure - myself, I'd like to hear them come on and talk in a big, booming echo voice (like they're speaking to an empty auditorium), stop for a couple of seconds in which they'd play the "cricket chirping", then ask each other where everybody went.

    Just my idea.

One thing about them playing Ron & Fez 24/7 now is their replays. I've heard the same Friday show over and over and over and over again...

Hate to say it (not really  ) but NPR and particularly the BBC would actually be a step back IMO. Talk about biased reporting.

NPR stands for National Public Radio. If you have ever turned the dial and heard a monotone voice reading the news and conducting an interview it probably is an NPR station. I am not knocking them. I usually listen to them at the top of the hour once a day to get a sense of what is going on in the world.
Don't trust anybody. Especially that guy in the mirror.

I like listening to Car Talk on NPR. I don't catch it much anymore but I used to love listening to people call in with the dumbest questions. " My left rear turn signal stopped working" "Did you check the bulb?" "No". The questions are endless
