Are you kidding...?
I've even got on brand spankin' new undies.
I think it's started early in Roanoke,VA. Came out from taking a shower, here at the T/A and there's 2 DOT in SUV's driving around parking lot, checking paperwork and such. On top of that, a plain wrapper, who was sitting across the street at the Pilot watching, pulled over a truck as soon as it exited the T/A.
*me drawing lines*![]()

Texas DOT has been hard at it for the last month or so! Guess they were getting geared up for the Mexican Border opening, which was postponed.
There are a couple of scales that we go around constantly, since they seem to think that our weight tolerance permits do not apply to those scales.
Your link says the 6th-8th. CVSA's link says 5th-7thOriginally Posted by countryhorseman

....and I saw a few weeks ago it was starting on the 4th (I dont remember the source). I wonder what the actual dates are going to be and what is correct? :?:
Well, the web site says the 5th thru the 7th, which makes sense, they usually do it in the middle of the week. The link to the newwire story came from the CVSA website, and I apologize for not noticing the difference.Originally Posted by Odie
Transport Topics, Dave Nemo and OOIDA all are agreeing with the 5th thru 7th.
Although, individual states do have the ability to start and stop at anytime they wish. But only the results of the inspections during the official 72 hours are included in the reports.

Hm, already got my sticker a couple weeks ago, maybe I can get my brand new truck done. Getting it tomorrow.
I usually do them voluntary anyway, go up on my day off when they are inspecting so I don't waste time loaded.
The Alaska Highway is my playground!
