Considering the quality of some of the truck flooring kits that these places offer, I'd take the Pergo over them any day.Originally Posted by Shawnee

I agree that's why I bought my own wood and did it myself how I wanted it, everything on my truck is custom made, no cheap chrome shop or truck stop crap on my truck.
Not sure why this was moved. I guess topics like Best Vacation and Road Meals are more in line?????
I think a certain Ridge saw your horizon with the Rev...and felt you'd be easier redeemed and sanctified here......
you are in a safer place. Repent and go forth. :P
Nope, wer'nt me that moved it. :wink:Originally Posted by roadhog

You mean that wasn't Rev. who took off running right afterward?
Firefighters and Rescue found 22 empty bottles of Strohs Beer, and a broken bottle of Jack on the dash.
Someone said they saw Rev. over at Waldo's pond pukin' his guts out.
....just sayin'![]()

Have a suggestion for you... Why not take your rig, (when there isn't a trailer attached to it, and you have the time), to a detail shop, and pay them to clean the rugs, and interior...Originally Posted by SteveBooth
I worked at a detail shop once, and they'll do it for a fair price. Of course this was a long time ago. But, they used to get $120 to detail a complete car, just took one day, then you may want it to sit for the rest of the day, just to let the carpets dry completely. But, they did a good job. Washed, and waxed the exterior as well...
Maybe you could find a detail shop near your area, that would be willing to do it.
Or, make a million, and open your own Big Rig Detail Shop... Now, there's an idea...![]()
HE SAID I HAD TO CHOOSE...
HIM, OR THE ANIMALS...
WE MISS HIM SOMETIMES...
Not a bad idea - a big rig detail shop at truck stops would make a mint.

Roadhog and Sktbrd you too are too funny.I hope that you're going over to the Comedy Boards?!?
I personally am very lucky. I have vinyl down in the front and use a rubber backed carpet in the back where no one can walk with their shoes on. I don't wear shoes in my condo in Denver and won't let anyone walk back there with shoes on either. Imagine whats on the bottom of our shoes from the truck stop alone? EECCKK!
Therefore, I am able to spray 409 to clean the front and it's really handy. My truck was brand new when I got it-lucky company driver!!! So it was detailed before I received it and everyone that gets into it still comments about how clean it is. That's because I wipe down the dash and steering wheel almost every day with baby wipes. I recommend that everyone wipe down their steering wheels. You'll be amazed at how dirty they get even within a couple of days. I'm sure you are all aware of the germs that are all over our hands. I drive mostly in the west and midwest where it's very dusty. Particularly at home in Colorado and Wyoming. You can clean and within a few hours the dash can be dusty again.
I'm at the point that I was going to clean my little carpet in the back and will just throw it into the washer after reading an earlier thread. Although, that would require me to go back to the yard and I don't like doing that once I'm out of the truck. I miss my condo.... SIGH!!!
By the way Sktbrd you weren't advertising-as in you're single were you? Great way to do it to come into this forum. HA-HA!!!:P
