I will. I will. Where are you loading today? Where are you going? What are you hauling? How much time do you have to get there? How much fuel do you have? What will you do when you get there?

I'm stuck at the Pilot in Phoenix, AZ taking a 34 hour reset. I can't wait to tell you about my adventures. I will post an update later.

Oh, I think I got it. Kinda making my own point, don't you think? Perhaps I'm too subtle.

Which direction is your truck facing? How many other trucks are there? What trucks are in the fuel island right now? What color is the truck on your left? Right? Are you having to idle? Will you lose your bonus if you idle too much? What is the temp there?

Why in the world did you go to the Pilot in Phoenix for? Not the nicest places to be at. I don't like flying j's but in Phoenix that's the only place to be. Might have to run circles for awhile to get a spot but it's worth it.
I know you probably don't know the history of that particular Pilot but there have been plenty of killings there.

Have there been any killings today? Do you think there will be? How was your day? What is the weather like? Is it hot in Phoenix? How hot is it?

This is an authorized fuel stop for TMC, the only one around. I'm running on fumes and I'm trying to squeeze in a 34 hour reset, I'm slicing time with a very sharp razor.

Yeah, it would be nice if we could fuel anywhere on the weekends just to get a decent spot to park for our 34 and a free shower to boot. I have paid for a few and sent in the receipt to TMC for reimbursement, but it annoys me just the same.

I also usually had to time that 34 down to the mile and the minute to squeeze it in properly. I learned to take the 34 no matter how late on monday it made me.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
    Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

I kinda guessed that was the reason-Watch your step around that dump.
Too bad you couldn't have gotten your fuel and then head a few miles west.

Or I didn't know any better. Actually, razor be damned, I'm using a ten pound sledge hammer to get my 34 hour reset.

Actually, you could have fueled at the Pilot, and STILL shut down at the "J" but that might require telling your logbook a little white lie!

Man... where did these "groupies" come from?? Smart kids, though! Wanting to learn at the feet of the master Blogger!

Remind me to NEVER do what you just did!! OR... shoot me, if I do!

I, too, am curious about the ways of the master. When shall all these questions be answered? I need this information, desperately. I await the answers, oh wise one. :P

With the continued success of MY Diary, I am thinking about selling franchises. I think an appropriate name is The Seinfeld Method of Diaries.
You too can relate the minutia of your boring life. The franchise will include suggested topics, such as: What kind of toothpaste do you use, do you brush up and down, side to side or the favorite circular motion. What side of the bed do you get up on. Is you gas tank filler on the driver side or the passenger and many, many more. Just send me $5.00 for your free packet. This is a time sensitive offer. Please hurry. Cash only, please. Void and prohibited everywhere.
