Sad thing today.
It looks like they plowed right into the back of him!
They must have been crammed into that Recovery Truck as well
...and not everyone wearing seat belts?

I'm seeing more crashes over here too.
It's on my mind always.
The roads are so congested, and people are in such a huge hurry.

This accident happened early morning.
You just never know...and it could happen to any of us, at any time.

Stuff like this is very hard on the Rescue workers too.
I've been there myself...and it effects you a lot.

Thats one job I could never do Bro. I,ve always wondered where people find the strength of character from to detach themselves from a situation like that. I,d be far too emotional when children were involved.

It is Hard to deal with, but you have to put it in the back of your mind and try not to think about it.

Summer 1995 We were diverted from a Fisheries Patrol to the Key West Straights to pick up Cubans that were attempting to come over to the Florida.. In a weeks time we picked up over a 1000 Cubans. Every Ship out there was picking up that many. When we were returning home, we found a Mother and her baby floating off of North Carolina. Needless to say they had already past away. Though we did save 1000 lives, the lost of the baby hurts still today, 12 years later.

firstly my thoughts go out to all of them involved, that stretch of the 25 is notorious for crashes . my job is to collect crashed cars and sometimes it is bad , if you know what happened or if it was a fatal or not . this merc was picked up last week by one of our local drivers . [img][/img]

Oh sweet jesus, it was a group coming back from a Stag party. If I understand that right, it was a bachelor party and the groom WAS NOT present at the time of this crash. Terrible news.

This morning, in PA, about one mile south of 322, on 222, there was a crash. I think it was an SUV, but not sure. There was a sudden, unanimous brake check in front of me, and less than 1/8 mile in front of me, I could see dust clearing. It appears that an 18-wheeler was involved, but I don't know in what manner. The SUV (I think) was on it's top, and it also looked like 3 or 4 people may have been thrown through the windshield. The impact was enough to remove an axle from the SUV, and it may have crossed the median. The flatbed had a rim bent over the axle hub on the front left side. From what I got to see, I'd be absolutely amazed if the people lying in the grass in the median were alive.

I've heard no details, and did not see it happen. I only got to see the dust settle. I don't like to see accidents, and like it even less when there's a big truck involved. I do have a photo of the car, but no way to post it here.
Destroy the cities...
and they will rebuild them.
Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

The bill has come due.
( R E T I R E D , and glad of it)
