    Default Rush New Cd

Hey Rush is comming out with a new Cd May 1st. I heard one of the songs on it already, it is called "Far Cry" The lyrics arn't the best but the music is Awsome.

My favorit band, has finaly come out with something new since Vapor Trails.

Sorry had to share the Joy!

    Slimland
On the edge of sleep, I heard voices behind the door
The known and the nameless, familiar and faceless
My angels and my demons at war'

    At war...

'Which one will lose depends on what I choose
Or maybe which voice I ignore...'

    Wilderness of mirrors
    Streets of cold desire
    My precious sense of honor
Just a shield of rusty wire
    I hold against the chaos
And the cross of holy fire

    Wilderness of mirrors
    So easy to deceive
    My precious sense of rightness
    Is sometimes so naive
    So that which I imagine
    Is that which I believe
    RUSH

My wife considers Rush as the equivalence to finger nails on a chalk board.

I saw in Modern Drummer magazine where Neil was selling 3 of his drum sets for $30,000, each.

Three cool dudes, who need no introduction.

Thing with Rush...you either love them...or you hate them.
    But...regardless...the musicality is not questioned.

Chicks don't seem to like them.
Same deal with Joe Satriani. If you go to Joe's Concerts...it's mostly old guys like me there.

    Ahhhhhh...ppffft. :P
    Stick yer Ballads! 8)

All of their albums I have loved, Except for Vapor Trails. I was disapointed in that one.
I realy couldn't give a favorite, there all special in their own way. But I do have to say one of the best is "Counterparts". From what I understood about that album, is they just went in a did it!

The musical "Leave that thing alone" is I think one for the History books of Music. Just somthing about it!.
And on Hemisphers, "Lavito Stangiato" You can feel the dream, and I think shows alot of Alex Lifeson.

As for Geddy, I believe one of the best Bass Players-- He has His own CD, by the name of "My Favorit Hedach" this CD, I think is Awsome.

Lifeson, also has his own called "Victor"-- A little harder than most Rush fans would think, but it has its own apeal.

Put the great trio together, and in my opinion the best band that ever was!

Though There are many Drummers out there, and many are very good. I believe Niel Peart is the best, He's not just a drummer, but a percussionist!

As for Zepplin-- an Awesome band and Rush's first Album, was based on Zepplin's style. Take the song "Finding My Way" most defiantly Zepplin style! Not to mention they said soo!

I'm gonna be in Las Vegas soon. Could even stay through tomorrow night...but dang it....only Concert is Elton John. :?

    waaaaaaaa haahhh haaaaaaaahhh...snif.
Why can't Clapton be here tonight.

Okay, don't laugh...I have been waiting to see Celine Dion too!
Her "New Day" Concerts will be ending soon. I think I can swing the timing to see her. Fortunately..she has lots of bookings.

I haven't been coming through Vegas much lately, but should start swinging through here a lot more now.

    Well...crap  :?
    I don't gamble...
but I'll get a taxi down to the strip...and walk around...
"girl watch" and get a really nice dinner. ...

and maybe I'll bump into Paris Hilton...or Brittany Hope they're drunk on their cute little butt. 8)
