    Default Sirius question

Hey guys, my antenna cable broke on my Sirius radio. I looked all over, even the Sirius website, and I couldnt find another one for less than $30. $29.95 is the same. :P Anyay, I decided to get a new radio for the same price as a new antenna. :? Pretty sad. Well, I got the visor radio. Now, this is weird. I have it in the truck on the visor, it works better when I have my hand/arm in the air, towards the radio. Is that not weird? It does get fuzzy at times, and when I place my hand on top it the radio, it's clear as a bell. Has anyone else come across this? What would help this issue? Thank ya. :P

I have had that happen on occasion with my Streamer GT, strangest thing. Sometimes I think its to do with the power cord and antenna touching in places, then sometimes I just can't figure it out at all.

I've wondered that, myself. Me being a sound man, I know to keep all electrical lines, and audio lines seperated. I thought the same thing, but I dunno what it is. My buddy that I work with has the same radio, but he has never had a problem.

Jack, I have the same problem now and then with the fuzz. Put my hand on the radio and it goes away. I'm on the best channel that Sirius says to try for my area code. Odd to say the least.......

Ok good. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. It doesnt do it all the time, just every once in a while. :|
