    Default A simple question....

Just a bit curious.....do any of the Admin or Mods actually drive a tractor trailer for a living currently.....nothing in the past counts. Are ya out pounding the pavement with us everyday of the week?

Since I'm new ..... just a bit curious. Want to know if there is any expertise on the Admin/Mod side of this board or are they just ?????

Nice knowing ya, Dangit! After you get banned for that, you can try signing on under a different name!

THEN.... when you get back, try searching some of their posts!!! You will find that MOST, if not all of them are working truckers, or HAVE BEEN. What do you mean the PAST doesn't count????

When and "IF" you ever GET to have a PAST.... you'll sing a different tune, I bet!

Just "razzin'" ya, SON! I don't suppose they'll REALLY ban you just for being silly! But... next time do a little READING before you ask a "newbie" question! Especially THAT one!!

Im just a nut who likes to come to this wonderful site, but my question is....why doesnt it count,if any of our mods use to drive? I would rather hear from someone who has driven for many years in the past, than to hear from one who just started out. Just my opinion. Some work for trucking companies, some are retired, and I think some do drive,I think. Thank ya.

Not sure where you are going with this but I'll bite.

I've been in the industry for over 23 years now and 18 of those as a class A driver. Yes, I'm currently driving. I'm working for a reefer outfit here in Portland doing local P&D as they are a LTL reefer outfit. Now, off to work.

Heavenbound drives, too. Doc has been driving since the 1800's. Yoopr has been driving since the Salem Witch Trials. Beetle and I do not drive...we cover the other side of the industry. Well, I do anyway...Beetle is still in trouble.

I will be back out there again shortly, just have to tie up some loose ends first and i believe it was since the 1700's for Doc. The beetle just stays in trouble, that's all there is to that.
In all thy ways, acknowledge him.

    Twilight Flyer,that aint right
You're right...I'm sorry. It should read:

Doc has been driving since Columbus discovered America. Yoopr has been driving since Moses parted the Red Sea.

    Please forgive me.

Actually, when God drove Adam and Eve from The Garden of Eden, he sent Yooper to be the chauffeur!!

Hobo....read the post and couldn't decide for the most of except for two...Dr. Who & yoopr. When doesn't the past count? When you haven't had a currently CDL for 15 years and you haven't got a clue about the changes in HOS or the industry. Just want to see if the board had drivers or paperwork pushers makes a difference, ya know.

When and "IF" you ever GET to have a PAST
Hobo....got a past and a lengthy one at that.

Just "razzin'" ya, SON! I don't suppose they'll REALLY ban you just for being silly! But... next time do a little READING before you ask a "newbie" question!
Hobo....call all the new ones on the board SON??? Did reading couldn't tell nice of the few who showed up and were counted. Guess I take it the rest are pencil pushers?

Not sure where you are going with this but I'll bite.
Scoe....not going anywhere...just been on many a forum with no one in charge having a clue.

Well y'all proved a point.....testy about a simple question. Maybe it was the way I phrased it but y'all jumpin' to conclusions on motives. Just wanted to know. Got some real loyal fans on the board....can be good can be bad.

Oh yeah.....Hobo, wasn't pickin' on ya SON....answering yours was easiest covered everybody's questions. Remember no hard feelings...just getting my feet wet is all.
