Well all the tests and biopsies have been done and Dad's lung cancer is inoperable but can be treated with chemo and radiation. He'll start tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 25) and will have to go three times a week to Fort Smith for treatments. "Just because he has cancer doesn't mean it's an automatic death sentence," his oncologist said. We're optimistic about it and all of his doctors and nurses involved have been so compassionate that it's unbelievable.
I just want to give a big THANK YOU to my CAD family for your prayers and words of encouragement. You'll never know how much it means to myself and my family. Whenever I get down and out I just read some of your replies to my post and it really gives me a huge sense of relief and hope. As I've always said and I'll say it again, truckers are the best people in the world!! You folks are awesome!! 8) 8)
